I already tried 2nd init roms. I'm just comfortable with what I have. I'm getting lazy. I'm looking at dual core (fast) phones. My son has a d3 and it zips along.
I have no idea what the Rom dev's did but the battery life is vastly improved over
2.4. (2.5 doesn't count)
This rom is one of the few that always bring all my apps back after I install it. A great thing.
How is this running for you guys?

Yes this 2.6 version is a vast improvement.Battery life is killer on this ROM now.10 hours at 50% and that was at work where i only get 1 bar and very bad 3g coverage and had GPS on all the time. This rom with the addidtion of v8 Supercharger and Supercharger kernal tweaks and this thing is blazing fast with no lag what so ever at all.I used the multitasking option which i think is #7.All i can say is WOW.
Ok is it one question, is it faster than ssx 2.0
By far yes.Plus the DEv is always updating.
I wish someone would pull all of this stupid LED notification crap out of CM7.
It's kind of a half-assed implementation since it doesn't cover all scenarios and isn't very flexible, not to mention its control of the LED doesn't seem to be the best (the LED blink rate is funky).
LightFlow is far better, but because of this OS-level notification implementation which can't be turned off, LightFlow is broken.
It seems like such an odd little piece of functionality. So much of the other CM7 functionality is fully fleshed out, nicely implemented, and this little piece seems to be stapled onto the side of it.
This ROM is nice, except for that. Oh, and probably the ugliest boot screen ever.
), and I wondered if flashing a 2nd init rom might fix it.Is it really a big problem? Ever since my last SBF, I've had sporadic LEDs on .596 (Handcent won't work, Go SMS won't work, but BattMonX works perfectly fine), and I wondered if flashing a 2nd init rom might fix it.
I flashed the file and signed in and set the phone down for 5 minutes. When I returned all my apps were installed. Did you uncheck the box to allow it to restore your apps? I dont even bother with backups anymore since it takes care of my apps automatically. I do loose the text messages but all of my text stuff is idle chat garbage anyway.
omgb is a great rom, its stock android feeling. i dun understand what the hype is on liquid gb, i havent tried it yet... maybe i should....
Yes you should. I like it better than omgb to be honest.

Well, here we go again with me too - GRRRR - I'm losing cell and 1G/3G service just like what was happening to me on 2.4. Why does this keep happening on this ROM?????!!!!!
i noticed a speed difference on ssx, it was just more snappy, omgb, is just aosp pure gingerbread, omfgb is quite quick
