Root Can't Unroot

I'm trying to unroot my GFs EVO so she can send it back , since she got a new replacement

I've downloaded the patch to get S-ON back but when I try to load pc36img it won't load it. I tried 4 different PC36img files and all the same . It does the check but doesn't ask me to install .. What should I do ?

I've unrooted a few Incredibles and never had an issue before

what hboot is the phone?
also are you naming it correctly? it needs to be named PC36IMG with no .zip as windows hides extensions.
and are you placing it on the root of the card? no folders?

HBOOT 2.02.0000

just pc36img no extra extension on it . And yes it's on the root of a 2GB card with nothing else on it

try a different card. i heard people having issues with a smaller card like the 2g. do you have the stock card?

That's the only card she has Ill throw it on my 32gig card from my thunderbolt and give that a shot

Threw the PC36img on my 32gig card and it worked perfectly .. Thanks

yeah i'm not sure why those smaller 2g cards do not play nicely with the evo. of course not sure why you would want a smaller card anyways. lol
