Just wonderring what the difference is between say xxkg5 and jpkg5. Region?
What do the first two letters mean?

The uk is under 3 different X codes. Does this mean any of these would be ok to use or is it best to stick with whatever is currently on the phone?

Mine isn't even in this list but is only in the network list (BV _ orange) so I'm a bit confused!

The network code (if present) determines the locale. I can't remember the locales/languages my own BV firmware supported but replacing it with any that support English (UK) will be fine.

Any of them should work, although you may need to update the baseband to match the firmware. Usually any limitations will be stated in the download thread for the firmware.
