Help Any recommended apps for keeping the processor performance good?

Like why are some apps to keep the optimus running smooth and overall good? Also any cool app suggestions?

root and instal setcpu... set on demand min to 245 and max 600... runs beautiful on stock 2.2 and 2.2.1.

NOTE 2.2.2 is unrootable as of now.

I would agree and disagree, right idea wrong numbers. The cpu comes clocked @ 600.all optimus m's differ but mine runs beautifully on demand min. 748 max 768mhz

I have 2.2.2 an I meant from the android market without being rooted

The most i can think of is advanced task killer.

The optimus performs extremely well out of the box, and the advanced task killer works just fine freeing memory up but speedwise....

u cant do anything without rooting the phone, youre out of luck on that one bud.

Can stock 2.2.2 downgrade to 2.2.1 then root or do you have to update to 2.2.2 to downgrade? I am unsure on that but if you can downgrade to root you should

You don't want to use a task killer, they're bad for android. Read this thread to understand why.

its ok, in most respects you can use the guide joneidy has out to do the same thing. so that one would just be superfluous
