Root MIUI running different kernal?

Ok so im running the rom MIUI 1.8 so far i like it very much battery life is better then the last rom i was using but lately been hearing about the keranl Golden monkey i was wondering if anyone has run GM with MIUI if its a good mix up and if anyone has the link to golden moneky so i can try it myself?

all of the roms and kernels are found the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/284413-roms-kernels-download-page.html sticky.

and golden monkey is universal so it should work on aosp roms. i have not tried this yet but it should work. also try tiamat sbc kernels. they are amazing. with cm7 and tiamat sbc i was able to get 18-35 hours off one charge with moderate to heavy usage. of course YRMV.

thank you im checking on TIAMAT right now but can you tell me what the vo 4g is a 7x30 or 8x60?
