Ok I flashed and I like it but it doesn't feel as snappy as mik g. The icons, click and text seems a lot smaller too in these sense 3.0 roms

It seemed slower out of the box and then got faster and smoother. Let it settle in for a day or so and then see what you think.

Yeah, with any ROM, give it a few days. But I agree with the smaller icons/widgets issue, it bugs me too -- but since most Sense 3.0 devices are longer and not as wide as ours, I'm assuming that'll just be the nature of Sense 3.0 ROMs (but someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

Flashed this rom today...I really like it. Seems stable for everything I do. I'm waiting for the battery indicator though. A Mario indicator would be awesome. My kids would crap their pants. LOL

I see no reason for this not to work, but I just want to err on the side of caution.

just tested it and im getting "the application % 1$s error when you hit start it just keeps coming back and every 3 or 4 sec..probably need some more tweaking

Anyone having any text issues?

the autocorrect is beserk, type in house, it gives me Isuzu, most of the time it converts everything to Spanish and/or some other language.

Everytime I type a word in English, I have to save it.
I can't seem to find how to change the setting.

Under "settings", go to "language and keyboard", "touch input", "text input", and deselect "prediction".

Ok folks, I'm currently experiencing technical difficulties getting update.zips to flash right with sense 3.0. I know these will work for MikG, I flashed em many times, but I can't seem to get em tweaked to work.
I'm going to try to get them inserted into the base Rom so its included with the initial flash, instead of just an update. It'll be a PITA if it works, but you'll get some % battery mod action.
For now I apologize for getting anyone's hopes up, believe me I'm the most disappointed, I hate not being able to figure something out.

Well, I wanted to give this a shot for the whole weekend, but I just couldn't do it. It's cool to run Sense 3.0 I guess, but MikG is so clean and smooth by comparison, with enough Sense 3.0 added in that the full 3D rom just doesn't do anything for me. I definitely didn't have any issues with Mik3D, but I think MikG is better.

What do you like better? I haven't played around with Sense 3.0 that much to be honest, but it seems that the jump from Sense 1 to Sense 2 is a lot bigger than the jump to Sense 3. At least on the MikG Rom because he added in a decent amount of 3.0 stuff.

The thing that bugged me the most was that I love the Sony Sketch font and it looked crappy on the 3D roms. Even the larger version didn't quite look right.

I'm on this ROM with golden monkey 1.1.

My question is when i use the camcorder. At 720p it stops recording. After one second.

I tried clearing
and re flashing. It keeps doing the same.

Is this a known problem ?

just a thought, try going into camera app and clear data and clear cache, if any... i'm running the same setup without the camcorder issue... it shouldn't matter but try starting the camera app and switch to camcorder instead of camcorder directly, see what that does..

This time, I used another theme (Sprint Lovers by RedWiz) but I modded it to include my Mario % Battery. If this doesnt work this time, I'll hulk smash something valuable.....

On a side note, I noticed the the A1 of this rom is on the rom/kernel page with mediafire of mulitupload, just wondering if anyone has the B1 uploaded? I haven't been able to access the site at all this weekend (and I actually visited a few places with wifi!).

ok did that, still doesnt work.. it takes a 1 second video then goes to the home screen... If i select camera then switch to camcorder and select 800x600 instead of 720p it works but the video looks choppy

ok, so that solves the 720p...


Before rooting ive never recorded lower than the highest setting in the camcorder. Is 800x600 supposed to be choppy during playback?

2. I still cant get wifi hotspot to work, it creates a network, and my computer and 2nd Evo pick it up but cannot connect. what am i doing wrong..... I have used both WiFi Tether and Sprint Hotspot app.
