Galaxy S2 2.3.4 - Who's got it?

I've read that some apps aren't compatible with the new version of android. Fear not, this will get sorted as the update gets rolled out! (officially)
 
I can't wait until 2.3.4 officially rolls out! I will wait until then! Thank you for updating us with all the goods things about it, I am very excited about the better battery life.

also now noticed flash player not working in browser, downloaded update but still not working, wiped cache and not working... so cannot view videos/live streams on bbc website
any ideas?
 
i think my flash player may not be working as i'm being recognized as out of UK, and I think the same might be happening to apps such as canon easy-photo, as these are only authorised in USA/UK
I am on vodafone in the UK - would it make any difference if I flashed to a uk vodafone specific CSC package?? would this have other effects??

if this is the thing to do, do I just download the file, and flash ticking the CSC box in Odin?
 
Another thing I have noticed since 2.3.4 is that turning the phone over does not silence it anymore,wifi is definetly stronger. battery is much the same,bit better. worth making the switch
 
I just read a tweet from ThreeUK saying that Galaxy S2 had an OS update. I check, but nothing.

I guess this is because I flashed with Litening ROM?
 
Where can I get the official (UK) 2.33 Gingerbread?

Someone posted a link but none of the usual passwords work. Please help
I want to go back to the official 2.33

To answer my own question and anyone else that is wondering, NO do not try and update with the firmware if your kernel doesn't match. After I tried the phone was semi bricked so I had to go back into odin and put 2.3.3 back on. Didn't loose anything and only took 5 misn so no biggie :p
 
if u update firmware, shouldnt that update ur kernel as well? so ur kernel doesnt need to match ur new firmware as it'd be updated too. although ive never used updates from samfirmware, always got em from xda

Hmmm, I know I installed it the correct way using odin but on reboot the phone was semi bricked and was unresponsive so I had to pull the battery to get back into download mode. I think I'll just wait till 2.3.4 gets officially released. Did you update to 2.3.4 with an officially released update or did you get it unoffiically from xda? If so could you please post the link, thanks.
 
Anyone elses phone started answering calls on Loudspeaker instead of Handset mode?
Only option I can find for this is in the Driving Mode of voice Control app which isn't activated.
Really starting to piss me off!!

Do you have Go SMS (or any other Go app) installed? I have read market comments relating to this, and their apps getting the blame.
 
yes i have 2.3.4 on my s2 aswell.threw kies tonight...((offical )) don,t know when its been avaliable since.but the fact is its HERE NOW.and im in glasgow.for yous ,DON,T see ANY diff in the phone rite enought..apart from the batt % when charging.but there must be more than that i guess..jga (((SOUTH LANARKSHIRE))) IM O2..SGS2.
