Well actually, Moto has NEVER made a twitter for an individual phone before and I think Verizon will be doing the announcing, not the manufacturer. I may be wrong on that last part though.
I'm not counting any chickens until they hatch. It was officially announced for Q2. So even an official announcement isn't a guarantee.
I've been waiting too long, I'm turning into Nancy Negative...

I think he means that for some businesses a fiscal year begins in April (after taxes) so first fiscal quarter is Apr-Jun, 2Q is Jul-Sept, etc.
No company would use that system for selling products though, so if it's an insinuation that they are trying to trick us and it will really be released in 4Q 2011 (3rd fiscal quarter) that's just silly. They said September.

HotDawg is correct, when a company announces to the public that something will happen in the 2nd qtr, they are always referring to calendar qtrs. Whenever they will refer to a fiscal qtr, they will say they are referring to thier fiscal qtr. This will almost alway be in reference to something financial. i.e. taxes, earnings, etc.
Yea, thats kind of what i was wondering...(what were they trying to get at) totally agree with you though, it would be 'silly' lol

Verizon's "big" sale ends today, ie get rid of the old stuff because something big is about to come. I predict cool stuff in the next couple of days. Maybe preordering. Maybe detailed official specs. I spoke with someone from the verizon internet response team on something else. She was excited about the bionic too but didn't have any good info for me.

I be heard from the son of a Verizon higher up that Verizon is scrambling to get bionic ready for labor day promo. I be annnot offer proof towards this claim, but seeing that he didn't know what the bionic was until I asked him, I don't think he would lie.

@droid_life Droid Life Starting to hear murmurs of a Bionic pre-order happening on Thursday. I guess that means either an announcement tomorrow or wednesday.
I sure as heck hope it drops soon, My Droid X is starting to die on me, what with random restarts etc. etc. signs that I need a new phone sooner rather than later...
Also I asked a Sales rep I'm good friends(good friends meaning he's helped me with devices in the past, and I've been buying and using him as tech support for my parents and I for whenever I or people on here can't figure it out or I'm not home for 5+years) with and he's usually good for a little tidbit of info too, he told me that I should make sure I have my xtra $$$ on hand for early Sept...so read into that what you will, but it looks like the 8th maybe a locked in date
Edit:Has anyone noticed that if you have the unlimited data plan the myverizon page no longer shows how much data you've consumed anymore??

If you click the area where it says {X amount of time} ago (or right click and select copy shortcut / link location) you get the actual tweet you want to post in here - makes it easier to talk about it, as someone looking at that user tomorrow may not even see that particular tweet.
