Got this to work on Koni's ES III. Does this modified flash work normally with everything else besides Hulu? (noob rooting question)

yep, should work with most sites that uses flash.

What's the deal when you select. A video and it goes to the viewing screen but there is a light blue block in the middle with a question mark

It's doing flash On-Demand. Click the button and it will load the video.
Alternatively change your plugin settings to Always On.

it is really not the rom. it has more to do with the kernel and as far as right now none of the gingerbread kernels have the supprot for it yet. teamwin is in development for it right now. they have a kernel out but the upgraded version of the mirroring app is not available yet. not sure if the new kernel will work with the old version or not, but you can get the kernel from the kernel manager app.
