Root [ROM][YACR] CM 7.1-Reppard

SMS question: I noticed new message notifications don't appear on the lockscreen on this ROM like on the others. You can see the icon at the top, but no "you have xx unread messages" below the date/time on the lockscreen. Is there a setting I missed to change this, or is it a feature of gingerbread/ CM7?

I know this is nit-picking, but this is the reason I went away from widgetlocker pro.
 
Flashed this last night, along with dark tremors script and gapps. Set "windows and transition animations" to fast in Spare Parts as I read this might help from one of the other CM7 threads. Still having screen lag on wake every now and then. Sadly wired headset not working, as it never did with the other builds =(. Icon does pop up, but other party doesn't hear me. I know, still old school. But hey, don't have to worry about charging my ear piece or using up battery for blue tooth. Other than that, runs flawless. Fantastic build Reppard!

Also.. there is ABSOLUTELY NO screen lag when unlocking phone.. press the button and its on

What did you do for the lag? Or was it like that when you flashed the Rom from the getgo?

Try using a live wallpaper. I have no lag at all.
 
I went back to bobz's build, but I think I'll try this again later tonight. I have to work from 7:30 to 11:30 tonight, so I'll probably give it a whirl then. I also re-flashed GNM's recovery, so I'll try it from that this time. Last time, I couldn't get the a2sd working.

The gnm recovery shouldn't be a issue... just flash the s2d script without wiping anything after a fresh rom install then download a2sdgui from the market and that app will let you move all your apps and dalvik to SD ext also zip align on boot but I'm sure you know all this sorry just trying to be helpful.

So what did you use to back it up? Ti-Bu, nand bu, or what? Then how did you restore? I want to give that a try this evening.
 
I had no option for ADW settings either but had backed up my ADW-EX that i had paid for. When i restored the backup the settings were there. Would probably work if you redownloaded ADW I'd imagine.

I backed up with Ti-Bu and everything was there when I restored. Bookmarks,messages,Wifi settings etc etc. Also did a backup in ADW just to be safe and restored those settings as well.

Its back... the screen lag.. it was totally gone after i restored my data and sd-ext partitions.. but after i used metamorph to reflash my theme mods it came back

I did nand in the GNM recovery. i made a backup of the data partition by itself and then a backup of the ext by itself.. after flashing this rom and gapps and rebooting i flashed dtsa2sd beta4 script. then downloaded the dta2sdgui fromt he market.. moved the dalvik to the ext. then i rebooted into recovery and restored the sd-ext and data backups i made and then cleared dalvik cache and rebooted.. first boot took a long time.. and the boot animation went back to the gb cmod7 build.. but everything works flawless
 
So I've been using this all day. Don't have data on my phone yet so I didn't use internet while out and about but I did use it for a couple hours in the car and and home on wifi and the battery life has been great.

Sadly it won't give me another bump in overclock like reppard got, my phone is destined to run 728mhz and thats it.

As "Android?What!?" said, I don't use live wallpapers either ;), but I do remember about that tip pmb116, thanks. I'm with Android?What!?. Lag isn't all that bad, but noticeably faster. I at least don't have to tap the screen to wake up anymore.
 
Haha I found out that I didn't wipe rotaty in recovery went back to this:D Great job! & is there a way to change screen transitions? I tried animmod but not that many choices
