Gingerbread 2.3 was here, then gone, now it's back

Is there an end date for this ota window?

Well, the original window started on a Monday with 10k phones. Then 50k more was supposed to go out on Wednesday with the rest of the phones getting the update on Friday.

Hopefully they stick to a similar update schedule and we all have GB by the end of the week.

Must have just changed because I looked at it a few times earlier today.

That is a pretty good indication that it is rolling out!

Not to mention people are RECEIVING IT. The fact that the update is rolling out is really a much better sign that the update is rolling out.

It has been stated that the roll out was under way, plus we have a couple users in this thread who got it, one even posted pictures of it

Is there a aay to get rom manager to backup on SD so I can go back stock to get the update? Not sure if they blocked rooting though. Not sure if 408 got the update either. Hmm. Impatient me.

When my kids Inc2 arrived, I walked him through the steps to look for the GB update and it actually worked.

It must have been in the upgrade queue waiting for the phone to check in.

On my wife's Droid 2, she hasn't gotten notification on any of her updates. She's always gone to the About Phone.

Hm. I figured that item just displayed a page that said "you're system is up to date", but didn't actually did anything
