Installing Gingerbread 2.3 ROM on Xperia X8
what ones better out of the 2 ???

Man i already try for thousand times or something like tat but i still dont get the su permission....same goes 2 the busybox!!

hi guys, im afraid i messed up. My x8 is stuck in boot mode, every time it reches the sony ericsson screen it shutsdown. So my question is: im i f*cked or is there anything i can do the restore the phone???

When I open root explorer or busybox, It says I haven't rooted my phone yet. I have already rooted it, there's also superuser in my phone.

Hi,

So how do I fix? Also there's no bin folder in my system folder!

Hi,
There is something wrong...
Your phone should be a /system/bin folder
You might have to do it all again...
restore Eclair 2.1 using PC Companion
root using SuperOneClick
install xRecovery using Root Explorer.

How restore Eclair 2.1? My Sony Ericsson PC Companion is now 2.0 (The latest version) Please teach me how can I restore Eclair 2.1

Hi,
To restore using PC Companion...
1) Download and install PC Companion on your PC or Laptop
2) run PC Companion and navigate to the software section
3) shutdown Xperia X8 and connect mini USB cable to phone
4) hold <back> button of Xperia X8 and connect USB cable to PC
PC Companion should detect your Xperia X8 in recovery mode and install the official Eclair 2.1.1 software on it.
When PC Companion starts to download software from the internet you can let go of the back button of the Xperia X8 phone.
Let the "software update" process compete by itself --> phone should reboot with Eclair software.

How can I navigate to the software section? There's no other buttons to click on in my PC companion other than the settings.
