Root speeding up phone load time with root?

My phone stays on the htc Evo 4G white load screen for about 5 minutes every time i boot up the phone... Is there anything i can do to speed that up?

that sounds about what my boot time is. some roms take longer then that. the synergy rom hates my phone and it took like 30 min for it to boot up! but if i remember right, you are unrooted so that to me sounds about normal.

Always helpful ocean breeze. I re rooted yesterday I'm running swagged out stock Rom currently.
