Root Cm7

I keep getting text messages from a number 6250 that says "VZWNM2"
Only when I have the CM7 rom flashed. Any Ideas?

Also I cant get my GPS to work at all, even after flashing a sense rom locking on to GPS and then flashing back to CM7.

Did you use ROM Manager to flash CM7? I would suggest starting over, regardless of using RM or not, doing a full wipe and reflashing CM7

I did flash it through ROM manager, I will wipe and try it again.

I would try doing it manually, also you might want to try one of the GPS tools apps on the market, I can't remember any names right now but I sure someone on here will

I restored a nandroid of a previous sense rom.

Then did you flash a nandroid of CM after getting the lock or did you reinstall it as a fresh rom again? I've always restored nandroids of AOSP roms when I try to do the GPS fix. In all honesty I have no clue if my GPS is accurate currently due to how little I actually use it.

dont mean to jack the thread but didnt want to start another. how close is your guys's gps on the lock? sometimes its close for me then sometimes its off by like 8 miles

For me when GPS is locked on, it's dead accurate. With cell-triangulation... I'm within the shaded circle.

When I first rooted my phone and was on the stock (rooted) mr2 (mr1? I forget, whatever the rooting thread said to use) image, I downloaded GPS Status and got a lock with that. Then I flashed CM over it and never had an issue GPS. Then when the GPS fix code came out, I applied that too but haven't really seen a change in the behavior of GPS on my phone.

Sorry I'm going to use this thread for a question I have. I didnt want to start a new thread for something so simple.

Ok I have newest version of cm7. I'm trying to flash the newest GB radio. The one I have isn't flashing for some reason. The zip says it flashed but baseband numbers are incorrect. I believe the info should be:

Build Number: 2.11.605.3; Baseband: 1.48.00.0906w_1, 0.01.78.0906w_2, for your ThunderBolt by HTC.

For some reason after flash the baseband is 1.39 something. Does anyone have the proper links to flash the updated radio?

thanks in advance.
