Root A little help to squash a droid hater.

So I need a little help my friend is a droid hater and instead of fighting back and forth with him I look to some of you for some help. Any educated rebuttals
That I can fire off at him to shut him up would be awesome.
Here is his statement the reason I posted here was he had a droid x and I still do

Sometimes I think you work for them or are suckin them off in the closet lol. love ya but droid is the GAY one.and the ios is bad as hell. only reasone droid will have it maybe is cuz they are copy cats.wait for apple to push something then steal the idea for there own phones.

do a side by side speed test
show him a widget!
show him the multiple roms/themes/kernels/themed apps/mods we have
show him some of bouchigos animated notifications in the status bar, tell him "ios5" the pulldown menu is a rip off of android. let him know that you can remove your battery and sd card

show him all the other features android has that apple doesnt, show him the work around for wireless tether.
 
They are both good phones but each excels at different things. It sounds to me like no-ones going to win this one.

You should just agree to disagree and talk about other things, like sports, politics...who is gayer, whatever. :D

Completely agree!

He likes his phone and you like yours and neither are willing to accept defeat.
 
The smart thing is not to spend 1 second arguing about this. Why? What do you care what he thinks? He is not at a maturity level that he can appreciate any of the Droid benefits. I prefer android but I can tell you there are many things I like about Apple and IOS. I don't need to dumb it down so much as to bash them as a whole. Spend your time other places, like meeting new friends...
 
Lol yall are being a bit harsh on the friend i think, i have a friend just like it with an iphone. We dont argue like that over Apple Vs Android, we realize that each one has benefits over the other, but in any other argument calling the other thing gay is a just slang for not liking it.
For us: Iphone Benefits:Music Player, stable" but i let him have this since only down time i ever have is installing new roms, but it seems he always tries to reach me at that time ",ease of use
Droid X Benefits: Tether, screen size, no dropped calls, nfl mobile, home screen customization, free games, free game boy emulator.

Where are the animated notifications?
 
If you guys are really friends, then it is better to avoid the subject as much as possible. I have never liked Apple, but some of my friends are Apple fanboys (they don't care which apple product it is, they WANT IT and WANT IT NOW). It would be very easy for us to start arguing about android vs apple or pc vs apple, but the truth is I will never get them to change their minds and they will never get me to change mine. It doesn't matter how much evidence there is, Android vs Apple is subjective so there is no 1 right answer.
 
Bla, bla, bla.....I don't argue over which is better. My way of squashing the Android Vs. Iphone fight is, well, I have a Droid X running MIUI. So I guess I'm using a hybrid of the two.

Nuff said.

people are in love with the ip4s, i dunno why though, nothing real great about it.

everything i keep logging into verizon they keep asking me if i want to upgrade to the iphone 4s, on every page! ugh, i want to call them and tell them to take it off, i dont care for the iphone right now

yeah i get an email once a week asking me to upgrade to an iphone since i am out of contract. you would think they would filter their android users out.

That's if you make the false assumption that 100% of android users are happy. Not true.

Ahh. Didn't pick up on that. This topic is real close to home having my dad a die hard Apple convert and me liking Android. I can see some of the Apple benefits, he can only see my camera is better at macro pictures...I am still working on him...;)
 
Not unusual you know. About half of us like girls, the other half boys. We somehow manage to get along. :D
