Thanks!
I've taken the liberty of quoting it:
Seems promising!![]()
At least we know the Razr info:
qHD super amoled
1gb ram
4460 chipset
Custom LTE to fit the thin size (how much $ did they throw at that?)
Tough build
Cloud friendly Motocast
16gb, but micro sd and sim ports on side of device
Locked bootloader (bleh, but have seen no need for custom kernel or rom on the D3)
Webtop (bleh X2)
Now just need the Nexus real info to compareI wonder if Sammy have gone custom for LTE, or same chip as previous device?
Really? No chatter about the sub par performance of the Galaxy Nexus via GLBenchmark?

What do you guys think of this?

I don't like the aesthetics of the three dots on the side. One should be 1.5mm further apart than the other two.
After seeing the images of this phone, I'm a bit disappointed, but it has also allowed me to realize something -- this phone isn't for the masses, it's not even for the geeks, it's for the devs, who contrary to popular belief don't need the absolute best hardware out there.
You are right that they don't care about the specs in that they really don't know the difference. However, when they see one phone has a dual core 1.5GHz processor with an 8MP camera, they will undoubtedly assume it's better than 1.2GHz and 5MP camera. They don't have to be iSheep to be sheep.
What happens when I actually use it for a while and have more software on it then it actually came with???? What will happen to the benchmarks then, will it start locking up all the time, etc.
According to EarlyMon (and also teamandIRC), the benchmarks were recorded on older, non-optimized, "gimped" firmware.
I know the 4460 chipset has been said before, but is there a source you guys are getting your info from? I've always thought it was an overclocked 4430. I'm often wrong, and this probably isn't an exception, but can you provide a link?
Edit: here's an easy web way: freenode Web IRC (qwebirc) Type in a name and then #Androidforums for the channel and you're in!
Here's an easy way to get into the chat, fyi.
Yeah but it's not like the name is laser-engraved into the phone. Call it what you want. Mine will be named Sue, the only living Galnexusaurus.
Better tell Sue that Sammy the Galnexusaurus will also be roaming the world. She is not the only one!![]()
so does anyone know if the new 4S can be jailbroken yet?
I think it's safe to say that the feature of ICS that I'm the most excited for is officially Hardware Acceleration. Hands down. This is going to revolutionize Android and take it to an entirely new level. Wait and see.

And, in all honesty, I AM disappointed with a OMAP4460 running at 1.2GHz. This is underclocked, so hopefully it gives room for overclocking, but if TI sold them to Samsung as 1.2GHz processors, that's probably all they'll guarantee.
In addition, I'm not sure how the system-on-a-chip things work, but will this also affect the clock speed of the GPU?
WOW! The Droid Razr.. A big FU to all Bionic owners! I would be mad if I just got a Bionic.
Bionic owners are puking right about now LOL
Okay, I don't know much about the technical details, but because of the way it's laid out, PenTile on a qHD screen has a "screen door" effect that makes a lot of people want to vomit or gives headaches. But the upside is that it has a lot more white pixels, so it's super bright and easy to read if you're outside in direct sunlight.
On the GNP, we're not sure if it will be PenTile or not, but we think that if it is, maybe since it's AMOLED (the type of screen, although I don't know what it means) and also a much higher resolution, that it will eliminate the screen door effect.

So is that different LTE than Bionic? Also where is the source confirming OMAP 4460 in razr? Today's announcement mentions only 1.2Ghz dual core. Most leaks before said it's 4430.
BTW, AndroIRC is free on the market and I used that successfully to connect via my DX.
From what I've read, those specs are from an OLD testing firmware. Wait till we have a final build tested.Really? No chatter about the sub par performance of the Galaxy Nexus via GLBenchmark?

I really have the feeling that we know very little about this phone now. That's why there are so many conflicting "confirmed" specs of this phone.
They won't overclock the 4430 which leaves the 4460 dialed down a bit (which stands to reason/battery life)So is that different LTE than Bionic? Also where is the source confirming OMAP 4460 in razr? Today's announcement mentions only 1.2Ghz dual core. Most leaks before said it's 4430.
