What I really hate is how people are comparing the Bionic to a phone that hasn't even been released yet. There is no comparison because well...there is nothing to compare it to besides specs. Just cause something has a better hardware in it doesn't mean it's going to be better. Until said phone is released and you can actually do side to side real world comparisons to it you're doing nothing but going off speculation. It's just like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s. The i4s didnt' really wow a lot of people. And we all know the flocks that bought the i4s are all idiots because majority bought them as a status icon. A bling to show off to their friends. My brother has the i4 and he just got his wife an i4s. Its definitely a little faster but other than that, it wasn't even worth the upgrade. His wife had a 3gs so it was definitely an upgrade.
If you are unhappy why even hold onto the phone? Why even bother posting that you're unhappy. You're just delaying the inevitable. Just return the phone already. Some people posts that they are returning their phones. Ok that's fine. Some people posts that they hate their phone and blah blah blah. It goes on and on. People try to help yet they are stubborn to even try to possibly fix the problem that has a possible solution. Then they go on about this future phone is better. Its better according to who? The person selling you the phone. Of course it is. They will tell you it's better by the specs. Until you get a hands on of the phone "you", not the person selling you the phone, will be the judge of it.
I am happy with my Bionic. It's a major upgrade from the OG Droid I had. I knew the prime was around the corner. There were other phones available to me prior to the Bionic. I followed the Bionic since it was announced. Unhappy with delay but happy with the outcome. Screen isn't an issue as I think AMOLED is oversaturated. Some like it. I don't. Not everyone is the same.
To put it simpler. If you're unhappy/unsastified with your phone return it. Don't try to discourage other people from buying it. Your posts aren't helping others make decisions. If it was a review of the phone and you weren't happy then by all means that fine. I don't mind reading posts that take the time to considering both the pros and cons. But when it's all cons without even considering the cons then it's a pointless post imo.
There's my rant. End of discussion. Back to flashing and making this thing scream!

One Click Fastboot
It allows you to restore your phone to stock with just about one click. It's great for those who are having bootloop issues or issues when trying to root and installing roms.
I do have one answer for you ...

For me the Bonic has been a great phone and was exactly what I expected. As someone that originally received a defective Bionic I understand that there are people out there with very valid complaints. But to complain because Motorola released a new product and to feel slighted is ridiculous.

All members, including the OP, are encouraged to post rants pro and con about their devices, or about devices they have not yet acquired. That's one of the types of posts needed in a big forum like this one, and it's also one of the things that's great about Android Forums: they're welcome here.
The onus is on other members, readers of the posts, to decide whether or not to proceed with reading said posts, it is not on any member to hold back from expressing their feelings about Android devices.
As I think a lot of people have stated, if one is happy about their situation they tend not to make a big deal about it. Where as some people will be very vocal about that piece of lint on their favorite tee-shirt.
As for me, put me in the bunch that is quite content with the Bionic. We all can just people watch the ones that complain.

I was just thinking about that. There's too many threads that all share the same ideas. They should be merged an so we dont have to scroll thru the similar posts. Some people might be looking for a post and it's at the bottom. Just saying. Don't want to discourage anyone from posting but if you're posting something that's similar to another post, post in that same thread. It keeps the forum from cluttering.

It makes no sense. for one, EVERY phone that first comes out has bugs, and i know most people know nothing about rooting, but if you root the bionic to liberty build 48 or th3oryrom, almost every issue is solved. i love my phone and aint trading it for shit, well at least for another year lol. especially no dumbass razr, which is basically a bionic thats less durable, slightly overclocked and a non-removable battery.... now the nexus is going to be nice, but not nice enough for me to wanna trade shit since most of its high points besides the nfc sharing and no hardware buttons is coming to the bionic. i thinks its mostly just a case of

I don't like my Bionic because the camera is terrible and the screen is pixelated and can't show a lot of colors. I almost want to go back to my Charge half the time.

No one really knows the durability of the RAZR yet. Everyone on both sides are making speculations. Best thing to do is wait and see how the RAZR fairs with the Bionic. If the RAZR is in fact better more power to the people who waited or made the decision to drop the Bionic for it. As some people pointed out the differences are minute, especially to me. Let's stop bashing each other in the head and compare when the next phones arrive.

Bro i have yet to see a skinny phone like that be durable. It basically straight to tech. No room inbetween for accidental drops. And all that stuff u swe is crazy. I dont have any issues with how the screen looks, nice and bright. The camera was wack, but like i said i have s different apk on the camera so mines runs continuous focus with a start time of 2.1 and after 1.1 seconds for pics. When the new update comes for non rooted people the problems will be fixed. A lot of tgings play into what phone is good for who, but every phone i ever read up on has its problems at first. Iphone to droid to windows to symbian. Thinking the razr gon be something special is foolish, especially if u bout to sell your bionic just to pay full retail for the razr... nexus, om but the razr??? Thats dumb..

The RAZR has Gorilla Glass, a steel internal frame with aluminum accents and Kevlar backing. The thing should be tough as nails.
Not having a removable battery is killing me. I'd probably get this phone if it weren't for the battery not being removable.

My gripe will be how quick moto forgets about they're phones and updates when new ones drop!

Oh didn't know all that... but still besides Kevlar doesn't the bionic have all that stuff too? Gorilla fa sure and the still, plus its beefier. Why I guess to each is own but to gripe about your bionic just cuz its not the newest thing out is ridiculous. And the screen is nowhere close as people make it. The bionic is nice to me.

Bionic is made average...not great, not terrible! Battery door is ultra flimsy and phone deff creaks quite a bit. However, Gorilla Gales is top notch on the Bionic.
Razr will be the standard on how build quality should be moving forward.

Bro it just feels solid to me. But yea I guess your rite then. Idc for the battery door cya I have a case. The only thing stands out is the screen, cuz I have always like sammy screens but the bionic just isn't that bad. Ehh we'll see when it comes out.

Gotta disagree with you there, buddy. Moto does not forget about their phones even if they release new ones in regards to support and updates. Well at least their Droid series.
That's one of the best things about Moto. I think they've updated almost all their droid phones up to date. I mean at least most of them have GB. Can't say that about HTC, LG or Samsung.As to the OP, people hate on the Bionic because it was delayed for so long. People don't like delays.

OG DROID has gorilla glass. Its been out for a while.
After I got the Bionic I was roaming around my Droid X (yes X not X2) and saw thate was an update avaiable that I had not yer installed.
I'm running 2.3.3 on the Droid X now.
I'm running 2.3.4 on the Bionic
The Droid X is two YEARS old (and still a superb achievement in engineering).

Yo how the hen did u brick ur phone??? Just playin i did too. I did the whole fxz file on rsd lite 5.5 and it was back gametime. And yes thats why i made the shiny phone comment cuz if u dont "draw a line in the sand" as homeboy said you always gone be mad. Yall know next year they dropin the nexus jesus running android apple pie wit peach cobbler on the side optimized for 84the core processors. Get a phone that does what it supposed to and if your a techy make sure its not slower then ur friends iphone. Somehow even basic civilians get caught in the "iphone vs android" fight. The last 3 people i ran into with the 4s got their feelings hurt. And moto WILL NOT forget about the bionic. It basically has the same guts as the razr, so w/e that gets, we get. PERIOD.
