Megapixels are a very small part in the equation of taking digital pictures. I have two Nikon DSLR's that have the same resolution but one takes better pics due to the size of the sensor.
I'm still liking the SGS2 and have a feeling that's gonna be my choice.
when phones are tying to place higher MP cameras to get better resolution pictures, the Nexus is going the other way.
Well, decision made.

How well does SGS2 stand up against to LG Optimus 2x? I was thinking of getting the LG cause it had tegra but not sure if the small screen is really worth it, especially when the spacin between the led buttons and the screen is so big. Looks a bit odd looking.

The GS II is much faster and a LOT smoother than the LG. I am coming from an iPhone 4 and the performance of the GS II is on par with the iPhone's fluidity. Can't say the same about the LG and Tegra.
The Tegra 2 SoC has the same CPU as the Exynos, so I guess it's the software that is slow on the LG.
Aight that finally puts away all the competition stuff I've been thinking about. SGS2 it is, too bad it's not offered in Telus for Canada. Telus is getting the SGS2 LTE version (T-Mobile variant), and it looks freaken ugly, display too big for the resolution, hardware is a let down as wel T.T
Bell I assume is the best I guess, btw are there any apps out there that offers Caller ID? I'm a iphone user and wanted to switch to android mostly because of the widgets and customization support behind it. I don't want to pay almost $12 just for caller ID.
EDIT: Is True Caller any good? Pros and Cons? Any better apps out there?
TrueCaller - Caller ID for your mobile with TrueCaller
In Canada, you have to pay extra for that feature which is really fkedCaller ID, as in being able to see who's calling? That's a standard feature..

Come on man, you don't honestly believe that a 5mp camera can't take take better pictures than a 8mp camera, do you?
I have the camera on my s2 set to take pictures at 6.2mp. Do you think the pictures at this resolution are worse than the ones I take with the s2 at 8mp? Of course not, they just have fewer pixels, which doesn't matter a damn unless you're gonna be printing big posters.
