are you using setcpu? if so how high are you overclocking? what kernel are you on?

try another rom or nandroid of a different rom to see if this is rom related.

Overclocking your phone too much can cause bootloops. I would check that first. If your using SetCPU lower your max setting

I've had this issue at random ever since earlier MikG versions, and im on 2.55 now and had it reboot/loop just yday as i was sending a text. I'm overclocked to 1152 on charge, 1113 most other times, and it happens regardless just at random. Usually only once every now and then, not very often at all, but a battery pull will bring it back up correctly. I always do a complete wipe process prior to upgrading ROMs, and its done it on nearly all Mik ROMs I've used, regardless of which SetCPU profile is being used. Could be a rogue app somewhere though as i always backup/reinstall the same apps regardless of ROM.
