Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket specs

You know, I'm already with Death Star, and with VZW playing with my emotions over the GNex, the phone linked above is very tempting. If it weren't for the minor fact that "Call Failed" gets annoying after a while, I'd totally do it.

i've been drooling over the gnex for a while now and i saw this to kind of made me start thinking.....but i guess my question would be how would a superamoled+ screen at 800x480 compare to a super amoled screen at 1280x720....

Ugh don't even know what to think about release dates.

This is obnoxious now and it's definitely all Verizon on this one. Samsung and Google released dates in the rest of the world, but the US which means one thing.
The most annoying thing is that the rest of us, non VZW people, keep getting pushed back with ya. Dang Verizon!

Happy for all the RAZR faithful, they have their date. I may yet go the Moto route...just not on launch day.

Verizon's strategy may very well be hooking this guppy. If RAZR gets high praise from early adopters and there's still no word on GNex...

much agreed on this point, wondering same thing about Tmo GSII, I think it's specs are the same, just no LTE, and add Tmo 42mbps HSPA+.

You know, on a ~4.5" screen, you probably need a magnifying glass to see the difference... just saying. Plus, this new GSII has a 1.5Ghz dual core processor...

Don't do it! Resist! We're here to help! That's EXACTLY what VZW's counting on...
Resistance is futile.

I would like to know a release date so that I know when to begin seriously trying to sell my Kindle and DX. I am going to use my sister's OG that she put down for the *phone back during the summer while waiting for the GNEX. Thing is, my DX is a fine phone and I find no reason to upgrade right away unless I'm getting the Gnex for sure. I'm not interested in the RAZRer or the Re-gurgitate. No offense to anyone who likes them...

I don't get it....if Verizon doesn't want the phone to sell, then why the hell did they agree to sell it?
My (conspiracy) theory is that they initially contracted to sell it because they thought they'd be able to bloat it to hell and back.

Verizon will be releasing the Gnex soon. Anybody that thinks that Verizon does not want to release the Gnex is a fool.
My point is; Everybody knows about the SGSII, techs and non-techs. Verizon past on the SGSII for a reason, The Gnex. So Verizon would loss all respect from all avenues. <<Customers, Samsung, Google, WallStreet,
Other vendors,etc...

I believe that to be correct. VZW is as bad if not worse than Apple in the control freak department.

If they keep dragging their feet I will ride it out with my Charge until another carrier gets the GNex and then bye bye VZW

BLOAT.

The rumor is that with ICS installed on a phone bloat can be removed very easy. Using an unistall program that is on the device. Now that my hold up anymore phones coming to Verizon in the future. Times are changing for good.:)

Verizon not getting the nexus would not hurt them that much. They have been doing fine without it for awhile now and plus how do you know verizon won't get the sgs3 that they can bloat up? If verizon wanted to release it so bad then why all these rumors that the dates keep changing for phones that they can bloat up?

Nooooooooooo. My best friend just became a sheep. :(

Back to our conversation on VZW being a bit controlling. And conspiracy theories.

Not remove. Unless I read and heard wrong. You can freeze data not remove programs. Or did I miss something?
