Okay everyone, I know how to make this phone show up ready to buy in the store in 15 days. Tomorrow, EVERYONE here go get a bionic. After 14 days it will be past your return period and thus, the gnex will be ready for sale :D

I already did that over a month ago!!!!!!!!

Email first, then this thread, then texts. Depending on how much I don't want to get up I sometimes add Facebook in there too.

I've never played a multiplayer

It is the most addicting, frustrating, satisfying, game (series) i've ever played and I've been gaming since I was five. My poor wife, she's got my daughter and me as her kids. I've always joked that gaming keeps me young at heart which allows me to be better at my job being a first grade teacher. :)

First, I commend you on your career choice (as I do all teachers), i know I do not have the patience for it (although at this point it might be the parents I would hate dealing with more)

Second - whenever I look up a multiplayer game I feel overwhelmed and don't want to screw up so I go find a single player game instead

What happened with the Bionics?

Might confirm my source's assertion that Motorola and HTC have the highest return rates... while Samsung and LG have the lowest.

the 4g to 3g transition. or 3g to 4g i loose all data and the only way to get it back is to pull battery and or turn on and off the airplane mode ti get data back so i got a replacement phone and it was still acting up and they sent out a new sim card and its still bad at times and tech support tried to trouble shoot again today and determined they should send out a 3rd phone. drives me nuts cause phone was delayed for months but no testers came up on the prob? no data is kind of a big deal.! not only is my phone a toy but for business too. i need my stocks to pay off so I can keep buying these phones. haha

I suppose it's possible.

Anecdotal evidence from our site suggests lemons happen with all of them and they all need to step up their QA game.

Had the Galaxy S faced GPS returns the way other brands did, instead of great consumer patience, the numbers would be different.

Plus, with HTC selling the most Android phones in the USA and the UK last quarter, more return stories are to be expected.

Not defending one brand at the expense of others - seriously, phone QA just sucks all around, that's for sure.

Thats a bummer.
My sister is not having much problem with hers that I know of. What problems where yours having?

the only time the bionic ever works well is on wifi. and the 4g to 3g and loss of data is a known issue and the fix is said to be out in 30 to 60 days im hearing and tech support said sometime this month but i told him i didnt buy an audiovox or moto v60 with a green screen i need data and internet and need something and he said only compatiable phone would be the razr but i cant get a new one would have to wait for pre owned refurbs.

No doubt, try being a teacher and coach...You think parents are crazy about their grades, wait till their little baby isn't getting the playing time they want. THICK SKIN is a must!!

I got my upgrade offer back on July 4th. At that time I was set on the bionic but as each rumored ship date was missed and I got increasingly sick of no hard info when the bionic finally did hit I was so annoyed with Motorola I said forget it I'll wait and get the (as it was called then) Nexus Prime.

Remember a month ago when they announced that the "nexus is coming and sooner than we think" I and everyone else here thought it would be tomorrow. So sooner would have been last week.

At this point the battery in my OG Droid is so fried I it drops by 1/2 sitting idle for 10 hours. Rather than buy a battery I'd like to buy a phone and I literally can't wait any longer. I'm gonna take a look at the HTC rezound now. Forget the razor as it's a Motorola product.

Actually my contract is up next week so maybe I should think about taking a look at Sprint now. All these phones are gonna have ICS and they actually do have expandable storage. The only truly unique feature the nexus has is the NFC chip and mainstream use of that thing is still years away.

I believe the Sprint and AT&T versions of the SGSII have NFC in them as well.

Maybe this is the wrong thread to ask this, but I have a question for those people who have preordered things from VZW.com before.

I do not yet have an account with VZW. That being said, whenever the Nexus is released/on preorder, whatever comes first, I will be making a new account. The new account will be either a family share plan with two lines, the first being the Nexus and the second being a featurephone for my mom, or we will both get individual line plans on the same account (havent worked out the logistics of doing one over the other yet)

I walked through the steps of preordering the RAZR, just because I wanted to see the process so I know what to expect. I noticed though that, even though it gives you the option of adding a second device/line on the preorder site, you cannot add whatever other phone you want....only the Iphones and the Incredible 2 (oddly enough) seem to be available to add on that page. In a nutshell, it seems that the order processes are different depending on if you are preordering a device or ordering a device that is already out.

My question is this: Assuming that if the Nexus has a preorder period, and that it will be using the same system, how would I go about doing this if the site doesnt give me an option of the particular featurephone I want to add to the new account? What is the best way to achieve this? Should I order her device first with a family share plan and then add the Nexus as a new line to the account once it is up for preorder? Should I preorder the Nexus and then when I get it, add her line after the fact? Can either of these two things be done, or is there a better way of doing it?

I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself but I just want to be prepared for when the orders open up online. :D Thanks for any help

I'm surprised that it's forcing you to choose a smartphone for your second phone. Have you tried to go in reverse and see if you can order the featurephone first and then add a preorder nexus. Or if nothing else call them up. That definitely seems like something that would be doable if the Nexus came up for preorder.

If I were in your position, I would go through the VZW site and get everything that you wanted and picked out, ie plan, phones, features, etc... then call them. I have always had better luck dealing with them over the phone. And you might get a better deal, I have before.

Wow I actually hit the 20k post!

I had been disconnected from the world the last couple days and when I checked today and they're now talking black friday I just wanted to vent. Then as I'm reading the thread I hear you guys talking about 20k which I didn't even initially know what you were talking about. I typed the post I just waited few minutes and watched the posts pile up and hit it at what seemed like the perfect moment. Then immediately the phone rang and I had to deal with my uncle's computer problems.

Pity I don't win anything, like a galaxy nexus.

I'm looking at Sprint phones right now my brother has the HTC EVO 3d maybe I should take a closer at it next time I see him.
