Root [CDMA] STOCK, Took Latest OTA (Can i Still Root?)

I haven't rooted my phone and I'm not sure if I will, and I want to take the latest update. In case I decide to root my phone can I go back to 1.4 version to unlock my phone, that way I won't have to watermark my phone using HTCs unlock method?

No, once you upgrade your boot version, you cannot go back

bahh.. that's sucks. I kinda wanted to take the update to take screen captures... but if Im not able to downgrade my boot version, then it's not worth it lol thanks for replying though!

just remember that if you have a rooted phone or planning on rooting your phone never accept the ota. most ota's will close the exploit that was previously used so you will have to wait for the devs to find a new exploit. also all you really need to do is wait and the devs will usually create a rom or incorporate the ota into their existing rom. this applies to all phones. fortunately htc has unlocked its bootloader, but it looks like it makes things sightly more difficult in the rooted 3vo world.
