Contract price?!

I guess I'll be adding a line to my account to get this phone.

My question is, how much do you guys think the contract price of this phone will be? For both the 16GB and 32GB. I'm hoping the 16 is only $200 and the 32 is $300, just like the iPhone. I mean, why would Verizon price it higher than the iPhone? To them, the iPhone is a lot better (at least that's how they seem to advertise it).

Anyway, yeah, please let me know. I know there's a MAP leak, but it doesn't say for which storage size :(
 
Just looking at the MAP alone it looks like there is going to be 1 version. It will probably be a 32 gig version at $299.
 
Gonna be $299 like all other LTE phones unless Verizon starts lowering them with AT&T releasing their LTE devices for $249. Hope I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt it.
 
I hope they offer a 16 and 32 gig version. I am paying full retail and do not need the 32 gb and was hoping to be able to save some money and get the 16 gig

This is what I'm thinking as well. No 16 Gig version on VZW. Just the 32 Gig version at $299.

I think it would be cool to offer the 16 Gig version at $199 or $249, but I don't think that will happen.

(Above is pure speculation by the way). :)
 
I say at most it would be $650. I mean it has specs similar to the razr but none that really put it ahead of the razr price wise so I can't see them pricing it any higher than that and would most likely be a little cheaper off contract IMO.
 
Best case scenario (unlikely): 16gb - $249, 32gb - $299.

Middle: 16gb - $299, 32gb - $349.

Worst case (likely): 16 gb - $299, 32 gb, $399
 
In a comparison chart made by Verizon it shows a 32 gig version. Seeing how there is only 1 version on the MAP it is safe to say that it will 32 gigs for 299.
 
Funny thing about that chart, they state that the Rezound has "camera with zero lag, slow motion video and panoramic"

Does the Rezound have either of zero lag and panoramic? I know the GNex has them, but of course they're not mentioned. From the looks of that chart, they aren't really looking to promote any features of the Gnex.

I think it does since htc went with that type of camera in their newer phones starting with the mytouch 4g slide I think. Makes sense they would put that in all their high end devices.
 
I'm going to go crazy if I don't quit reading about this phone, but if I don't get my daily dose, it'll be worse. GAHHHH!

OT: Yeah, I'm thinking it's going to be just a 32 gig with a $299 price point on 2 yr contract.
 
No less then $649 if I had to bet....The Razr is on vzw's website for $649 retail right now, I can't see the GNex going for any less...
