lol fight the urge for impulse buy's peeps lol.

I agree it is tempting to possibly be one of the first with it, but i'm sticking to my guns i'm waiting on real reviews. Its so close i can taste it.

Droid_Life did their video unboxing last night. They got both the RAZR and the ReZound in yesterday. So they should have their hands on review up next week. I really like the way Kellen does his video reviews. So i'll wait on that for sure.

also, i didn't get my shipment notification for my rezound until late last night. by that time, i was worried, so i called verizon, and she didn't show it shipping, so she told me it wouldn't come until monday. literally two minutes after i hung up with her, i got the email notification, saying it would be here friday by 7pm. i just checked...it's in memphis right now. i might take the day off tomorrow just so i can wait at home for it. i usually leave a note with my signature for fedex, but i think i want to be there to grab this one.

I'm jealous - mine says it's still in California. Supposed to be here tomorrow though! I wish I could stay home from work.

A LOT of times FedEx will ignore those notes for stuff like VZW phones.. I've heard a fair number of "horror" stories where people left a note and because it was a VZW package they still didn't leave it.

I'm willing to bet FedEx will leave it on my doorstep anyway. Back when my husband proposed, he waited at home to be there to sign for my engagement ring, marked signature required. They left it on the doorstep without even knocking. Same thing back in FEBRUARY with a box marked "live fish" in big red letters. Ugh, more like FedUp.

My DH is home 'cuz he's layed off for the winter. So I had it shipped to my house. I told him under NO uncertain circumstances was he to leave the house until it came! LOL and if it came early enough, he could be nice and bring it to me! I wish I had had it shipped to work though. But the last two times I had something fedex'd to my work I got burned because they were sent with their residential Saturday delivery (and I didn't know it at the time) and I had to come to work and wait for them to come. I wasn't going to take any chances!!

Oh, and I left my confirmation email at home. I didn't forward it to my work email because I figured it was sitting on my phone, but my computer must have taken it off the server before gmail checked it. So I don't know where mine is at this minute. My guess, is Memphis though.

From a very brief perspective, I'm going to say an extended battery will be beneficial. It's going to be better than the Thunderbolt no doubt but how much better im not sure. Screen is Very nice its thankfully not pentile.

Yay, mine's in Indiana now!

I'll give a full review later but from the short time I have had with the phone I have pros and cons, obviously the 720p screen is an easy pro, the signal for 3G (no 4G where I live) is about the same as all previous HTC phones I have owned it's fairly weak. The wifi signal is improved from the Incredible 1 & 2.

The phones signal drops rapidly if you hold it normal, if I just hold it with the tips of my fingers on the sides it's great. I'm talking from -79db to -95db instantly.

The volume rocker and power button is very recessed, It's quite the opposite of the Razr, I guess there's no worries of it snagging but it also is a bit tricky to find by feel.

There's a little give on the back center of the phone sounds a bit hollow when you tap, I'm being picky but these things tend to annoy me a little.

If you don't live in a 4G area your going to want to turn 4G off to get any data (at least I had to). There is not simultaneous voice and Data over 3G, it may work for 4G but I can't test that currently.

Speaker phone sounds clear and loud, the earpiece sounds loud and clear no issues there. My wife said I sounded really good.

The camera takes awesome pictures, shutter lag is very minimal. it's definitely no Nexus though.

Overall the phone is fast, I have encountered some lag when downloading an app and trying to do other tasks at the same time. Sense really affects the performance of a phone.

To be continued... *** I was incorrect you can do Voice and Date simultaneously on 3G!

what makes you think it will be better than the thunderbolt? It has to power more than the T bolt and they both use the same LTE radio.

Add me to the "curious about battery life" list. :o

BTW, the battery should be ready to go out of the box, lithium-ion batteries do not require any priming, formatting or calibration.

Phone still needs to calibrate the battery though. Plus a full cycle is suggested.

It's been proven that dual core phones can be more efficient than single core phones, the battery is 1620mAh vs 1400mAh. i could be wrong this is just my initial impression.

The phone battery meter may need to be calibrated (so it can properly read the battery charge), but not the battery. I believe that is what you meant?

Right, that's what wiping battery stats does. There are so many times when there are posts from people who flash a new rom and then say the battery life is bad because that's what the phone reports. Then after they're reminded to wipe battery stats, they see normal battery life.
