Nice to see that everyone grabs the chance to talk about waffles and hangovers while the rest are glued to the chat.

lol

Probably because there will be NOTHING learned from the chat. All company canned responses.

Don't get me wrong, I think these sessions are great for some people who honestly want to learn about a new phone. But most here already know these things.

Honestly. Did you really learn a thing?

Should've asked: Will the Galaxy Nexus have a preorder period, or is Verizon sticking with the announcement date of Novermber 15?

Nice effort by Rob and phandroid.com for the chat, but really not much that couldn't be (or hasn't been) said in a 1 page press release.

If anyone would like to see my chat with Verizon regarding the SGN, please visit my live youtube channel later today where I've kidnapped a CSR and will be making him answer your questions.

An even easier solution...waffles. I've tested this theory tirelessly, and consuming waffles after drinking and before going to bed prevents hangovers...every time. And if you want to feel GREAT in the morning, not just good, throw in some hash browns, scattered and smothered.:)

So you're saying stop at Waffle House on the way home from the bar? :p:D

What's the shortest period of time between Verizon announcing a release date and the phone being available in store (or online)? Is there usually a week pre-order time between the announcement and it's store availability?

I wonder when most of the apps I use are going to be ICS ready? Is the Phandroid one going to be ready the day we get the Galaxy Nexus? What about tapatalk, pandora, yahoo fantasy football, slingplayer, iheartradio, audiogalaxy, etc... hmmm....

I can't wait much longer for this phone, all of my family and friends have upgraded over the last couple months and my mom and girlfriend both keep asking when I'm getting a new phone, I keep telling them whenever the G-Nex comes out, they ask when, and I never have an answer. :(

TI has a very nice description of the differences between the 4430 and 4460 processors showing significant performance improvements in addition to their statement regarding improved battery usage that I described in my prior post yesterday about 2000 posts back :). The 4440 was renamed to 4460 that is used in our expectant little phone that we are all hyper ventilating over.

TI's OMAP4440 processor boasts new upgrades, raises the bar for mobile design - News Room - News Center

DALLAS, Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) today announced that the OMAP4440 applications processor enhancements deliver impressive performance improvements beyond the OMAP4430 processor, including a 1.25x increase in graphics performance, a 30 percent decrease in webpage load time, a 2x increase in 1080p video playback performance and clock speeds as fast as 1.5 GHz per ARM

BB, are you trying to tell us you are a normal person??? :p

Just teasing you! :)

Lol. No - was just pointing out that there are normal people out there. Family members even! :D

The SDK is out so ICS ready now if the developer chooses.

I also have a friend ready to switch from his iPhone 3gs on AT&T to a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon... if only I could tell him when it'll be out..

This must be why I'm always drawn to Denny's/IHOP/Waffle House after a rowdy night ;)

Haha, the secret is out! Waffle House is our FAVORITE spot to go after a night on the town.

Of course waffles work. They cure everything. No one's ever seen anyone without a big, contented smile on their face after having a plate of waffles.

All of the above - EXACTLY!

I just went to Waffle House for the first time EVER last November. I wish I had one close to me. Waffle House & WaWa are my favorites.

SERIOUSLY? Now you really DO need to move south. There's a Waffle House on every corner down here.

One banana and a big glass of water before bed. Follow with a big, greasy breakfast in the morning.

Banana for potassium and vitamin B, and water for dehydration. The big, greasy breakfast doesn't do anything for the hangover. It's just yummy.

Oh no...it totally does prevent the hangover.

Best hangover cure: Ghetto mimosa - 1/3 OJ, 2/3 lite beer. A couple of those and you are right back in fighting shape. Half the people who see me do that make an "Ugh" face, then try it, then ask for one.

I will have to try that. :)

From announcement of actual, hard release date to release has been 1 day (Bionic) to 2 weeks (RAZR) recently.

Probably 99% of apps will run as they are now on ICS. Doesn't mean they'll be perfect, and that there won't be an occasional outlier, but an app like Phandroid should run just fine.

If it wasnt for the GNex I would probably be buying this phone.

The RAZR is indeed a very nice phone. There is no need to put it down. Many of it's specifications are on par with the GNex.

I prefer the GNex, but I don't hold any ill will towards the RAZR, and by extension, those who purchase the RAZR.

I think there will be many happy RAZR owners. I just want to be a happy GNex owner.

Guess me not seeing the chat was no big deal.

I had a feeling we weren't going to learn anything new from this chat -- just a bunch of canned responses with limited information.

Thanks to the Phandroid team for trying though!

off topic but whatever happened to the user "NKT"?? he used to be our insider back in the days when we were waiting for the incredible.

does he not leak info anymore?

It's over. Last question was a softball one.

You didn't miss anything, trust me.

Found it shortly after I posted the question and read through it. Wow. I could have been playing CoD with that time wasted lol. Rob did great trying to get some questions in there but yeah....not much you can do when the other guy is just spitting out planned company generic responses.
