"It was stated several times through out the thread that these types of posts wouldn't be tolerated." That statement might hold a little more credit if this thread didn't have over 26k posts...

Dude you've been a good contributor. I've got no business giving my opinion, but if you let it go there's a good chance you'll still be here and we're all better if that happens.

Grab a Newcastle Brown Ale (or two) and come back and root on GNex's arrival.
 
Speaking of songs - had the radio on this morning and heard the song by Kesha - Your Love is My Drug. I'm not a fan of hers but I wasn't able to change the station so I listened to the lyrics and found some to be quite appropriate for us:

How is having 26K posts relevant to zero tolerance for cruel jokes that piss people off?

Looks like the SGS2 is being quietly transitioned to OMAP processors... probably to do with ICS optimization, dontcha think?

And about the Photoshop thing, I think it needs to be dropped. The deed's been done, justice has been served (and it was only a temporary infraction, come on), and Cincy can keep posting if he so chooses. S'all good folks.

I really like it. It's got action, and a bike, just my cup of tea!

I do agree that they need to show the phone more. I am sure the thought behind it is to drive people to the stores and online to check it out. Not sure if this type of marketing is helping them or hurting them.

Don't let it get to you. I think everyone is on edge here over the SGN, so people and mods might be less lenient in terms of what goes on.

As an aside:
I used to post on androidcentrals forums quite a bit, one day I saw a video of the main guy phil showing off a phone and saw he was pretty overweight. I'm a family doc, and posted a post saying, due to your lifestyle (traveling often, no exercise which he talked about on their podcast, and being overweight), he should see his doc. guy's got two kids and might want to try to stay healthy. I was attacked and banned over there, never looked back. The mods on that site are crazy with power. Here there great, so don't worry about a demerit. Be worried when you're on super secret double suspension:D

Anyone else find that the more time they spend on the drum the worse their addiction becomes?? And the closer to potential launch? !

Why go missing? You've been contributing for quite a while, you say (and your post count shows), so why stop now? Is it so hard to put yourself in other's shoes and see that what you found humorous was not so humorous to many others. Besides, "humor" doesn't trump the ground rules.

How about editing that "poke" post, sticking around, and continuing to contribute?

I know. I didn't say that to reflect my own opinion, mostly the instant reaction to what happened.

I've already gotten over it, everything's cool with me. Guy made a joke that probably wasn't the best, got a little spanking, and it was done. I hope he doesn't get banned even though he basically said he wanted to be.

I just didn't get the correlation between the number of posts and practical jokes. I guess I could have phrased it better, in retrospect. My bad.

When you go to someone's sandbox, you agree to abide by their rules. If you don't like those rules, find another sandbox to play in or build your own. You don't get to tell someone else how to run their show.

Thought about what you were asking a little more. The point I was getting at is it is awful hard to find one of these " warning" posts in a thread with over 26k posts. Not everyone will sit here and read the WHOLE thread so there is a really good chance they will never see it. Hell I never even read the first page of the thread.

if you have contacts saved on google then yes it will import them automatically, it will also back up any new contacts you enter to google so they are always there.

edit: I am assuming you mean logging into your google account on your phone once you get it.
