***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

I'm wondering what is going to be first. An official release date for the verizon gnex, or my incredible getting the official gingerbread update

The December dates came from some rumored release delay in the UK along with random people on twitter, but Samsung has come out and stated that there is no delay. The 17th came from a supposedly leaked Verizon document, as did the 21st and even the 28th can be traced to the marketing schedule. I would have said no way for a Monday until the Rezound came out today. So when you really break it down, all dates are rumor and suspect until Verizon makes an official announcement.

True. I'd even go so far to say that the leaked VZ documents have little substance since they are dated (delays occur) and their is no real proof the sources are real.

Most dates so far including December delays, 11/21 have concrete substance considering Verizon has made no official announcement of a date.

Went to the VZW store Sunday and mentioned the Galaxy Nexus to the same rep who sold me the Droid Incredible (she's an amazing sales person, by the way; commented on my weight loss and all!), and she said, "Ah yes. That's coming very soon!" I don't know what 'very soon' means, but her and the other employee smiled at each other.
 
I wish I had Skyrim to hold me over until this is released...but luckily I still have a buttload to do in Arkham City and MW3! Tomorrow is a big day!! I can't wait!

This reminded me of how the rep at my store responded to a question about Nexus I asked today. He had got me a Rezound to check out and I said I really want Nexus and when does it come out? He replied, "That hasn't even been officially announced for VZW yet" in a kinda canned way as if this was his own personal prepared lie when asked about Nexus. Kinda wondering if word on availability have been released internally, but no one can say when for some odd marketing and surprise release reasons??
