I just KNEW you kept posting the Charm because you wanted it for you own use!!!!!!! :)

That's not gaga! Iagree with that though whoever she is I watched it twice even though she sings kinda weird

Ellie Gould is her name. Who? Exactly. Yet I couldn't turn away.

Btw, I just watched the last 20 minutes of Transformers 3 on the rezound. It was a special rip I made from my Blu-ray disc a while back to play on my Xoom and D3. The rip was 3.5 gigs and took FOREVER to encode because of the high bit rate I went with. It was so high in fact, I couldn't get it to play on my D3 without hiccups. It did play fine on the Xoom.

It also played fine on the rezound (I suspect it probably had more to do with the extra ram). And to be perfectly honest, it looked better on the rezound than on the Xoom. The Xoom's screen isn't that great so maybe that has something to do with it, but still. I never thought I'd like watching a movie more on a 4.3 inch screen than on a 10 inch screen, but I did today and I probably will tomorrow.

I have movies on mine, but they aren't in hd. i made them from dvd's using anydvd ripper I think. they aren't in hd, but the picture is still great! They are Harry Potter and I like to watch them while I am at work. I am able to have 6 movies stored on my phone, and the last two are digital copies and are watched thru apps.

On the HTC Rezound facebook page, they have some sort of giveaway. I think they're giving away music that is supposed to benefit from the "Beats" stuff. On my laptop it sounds like they just amped up the highs and the lows though so I'm sure it sounds "bumpin" on other headphone/phone combinations.

Hey guys, i have a question about battery life. I don't know if i'm not soposed to ask this question here but i didn't want to clutter the main rezound page with another new topic. I've been looking at reviews on battery life but it been either ok or bad. Since some of you here are incredible owners how does this compare to the incredible battery life?

I love htc phones and their sense ui but their battery life suck. I use the stock and the senido 1750 extra battery (if it makes any difference, I've been using this battery since the droid eris came out). The phne is usually out of the charger around 9:30 a.m. and on my longer days of going to school then work, its back on the charger a little after 12 midnight. I only do 2 tasks on this phone mainly. Browse the web and play games. (also make calls but on avg. barely 5 min a day.) Also, the brightness of the screen is always at 25 % with no live wall papers.

The games i usually play are game that were and still on the apple market like hanging with friends, angry birds, and contract killer so they also drain the battery more then other games. I'm on my phone on my way to and from school and work and from the times i said above to phone is on for about 7 hours with browsing the web and playing games about 40/60. The first battery is usually dead with about 4-4.5 hours use.

I try to cut corners any way i can but the batterly live on this phone is terrible. The main reason i'm paranoied about the battery life is that i obviously plan on listening to music on this thing which i never did on the incredible because i sure i would take the complete charge of both batteries to get though the day. I'm also probably gonna watch videos through the youtube app and through the browser. I gonna buy the extra battery away for emergencies. So, just how much more of an improvement is the battery life on the rezound compared to the Dinc?

I took my Rezound through it's first day at work today. I have zero complaints about the battery. I left my 4g area at home to work in a 3g area. I made a few calls. Flagged a few emails. A couple of dozen texts and a lunch hour or checking my fantasy fb and reading some sports blogs. A very typical day for me and my past Dinc. I got home and still had most of a battery. I sucked it dry playing with it after dinner in short order however lol. But... It made it through my typical day with no problems at all. I'm very happy.

You made the jump also olbriar? Hell Yea! lol

Did you disable 4g while at work and just go 3g mode?

My first impression... An Incredible on stroids. Comfortable in the hand. A nice sounding speaker for a change. Quick. The screen is eye candy. Quick. Sense is sweet. 4g/3g stepped down and back up in and out of 4g area as I wanted. Quick.
The build seems tight and sound. And did I mention it's quick? And with Tango the front facing camera worked great and 4g provided seamless vid stream. And the Rezound is very quick. Only took a few stills and zero vids but I'm very pleased with the camera. All in all.. I'm loving it! .. and it's quick.

Along these lines, I purchased a kit with this style of case / holster combo:

Set Your Location

I was told the case wouldn't really add bulk to the phone. Untrue!! You could fit a small child in the back of the phone, between the phone and the case.

I don't know if it's made for an extended battery, or what the story is. But I'd steer clear of this case, or the entire kit for that matter, as the screen protectors are horrible things.
I had this kind of holster for my Inc way back... it's ok, but the problem is that after a while it gets really loose and the phone can fall right out of the holster.

Waiting for Seidio to come out with a spring clip holster.

Yes, yes.... I get all that. But is it quick?

:p

I always like reading the reviews by Kellex.

However he is kind of biased as in he will tell you straight up he has never been a Sense fan. Also 2 of the issues he had on his negative list could be fixed when/if root and roms come out for this device.

I stopped by our Verizon store yesterday and took a look at both the RAZR and the Rezound. The RAZR was just plain too thin and didn't seem to have substance. The Rezound had a good feel. I played with the various screens and the phone was definitely quick in navigation. Rezound hands down.

My upgrade is available 12/29. It might be a slightly late Xmas present.:D

Finally picked up my Rezound last night. Glad to have the two-month holiday return period while i put this thing through its paces. As has been said already, the screen is indeed beautiful. I still have to calibrate the battery a bit before I can make any conclusions on how good or bad the life is. However, I must say that I'd like to string up the person who designed the power and volume keys. This is my first htc device, but these are the most annoying hard-to-find/push buttons I've ever had the displeasure to use on any phone I've ever owned. Hopefully it'll just take some getting accustomed to. Only time will tell. I didn't purchase any accessories or extended battery because I want to compare it to the Galaxy Nexus' screen (whenever the hell it's released) before making my final decision. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I like Sense. Yes, it's beautiful. But it also feels like it's in my way to some extent, unlike Motorola's Blur implementations. I've never used Touchwiz, so I can't compare with that. Still, that can be rommed at some point or i can see how ICS will be integrated onto it, so that's not a dealbreaker. (Hell, the buttons are more annoying than that is). I did wind up accidently overwriting the default bookmarks when I pulled mine over via MyBackup Pro, so hopefully I can download those from elsewhere. I've got Battery Left Pro on there calibrating as well. Unless the GNex knocks this off its throne, this will be a keeper for me. :)

His review is almost identical to my feelings about the phone after about 20hrs of ownership . I can not wait for root and some CM7 and eventually CM9 love . I miss it so much from my Tbolt

The dimensions on the Rezound compared to the TB are a little different. I was thinking it was going to have almost identical dimensions. Thinner yet taller but with the same screen dimensions. This thing actually feels better in the hand than the Thunderbolt. I will say this though, the Thunderbolt felt a little better as far as build quality, but I think it's because it's a little heavier and the back cover doesn't feel as much like rubberized plastic. I'll report more Thunderbolt/Rezound comparisons as I get to play with this thing more.

I still say that a sadist had to have designed those awful power and volume buttons, though.

I did not find them bad, but was expecting the worst. Since Lexington got 4G today, I went and tested the Rezound again and put some comments in the Rezound vs Motorola Razr thread. Kind of mixed results when testing more today, while using 4G as well.

Kind of a good news, bad news result.
