If I would've posted in there it would've just been the link. After rumors today that the Nexus might be pushed back to December, I couldn't kick 'em when they're down.

We apprecaite that. I had to jump out of the GNex thread for a bit to get my sanity back. I'm really considering the Rezound. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll beable to walk into the Verizon store and actually get my hands on all 3 for a test run (Rezound, Razr, and GNex)

cant you just erase the stock message shortcut and put a shortcut for handcent on home screen?

Just got back from verizon, and am pretty immpressed so far. Feels much nicer in the hand than the bionic and the razr, haven't had much time to play yet tho. I called one store and they said they were not getting them till tomorrow or the next day, called another and they said they had a few left. Not sure why they all did not get them. bye bye dinc, HELLO Rezound! lol Oh and otterbox had a defender case out already

saw that, was too much going on for me at 50 bucks... didn't like the built in screen protector either

Should be long press/hold, should then highlight with remove button, drag to remove.

no the home screen on the Rezound is different. When you go to unlock the phone, you have the option to go right to the phone, camera, messages, or mail. or you can just go to the 7 main screens. id like to swap out the stock message app with handcent. sorry for the confusion

Oh, you want to actually change it out on the lock screen? Not the home screen. Check the user manual yet? That is editable, just need to figure it out.

What does the user manual state? It is dlna certified. Just checked HTC website and only thing I see is that it says dlna adapter sold separately. Check market for skifta which is dlna.

when your playing a video on the rezound touch the screen and up at the top right should be a button press that and it will give you the option to send it over the network

omg, ordered my phone today! Should be delivered between 8am and 10:30am tomorrow morning! I'm going out of town tomorrow evening, so I had to spring for overnight shipping.

FWIW, there are 2 options for next day shipping. There's regular, which arrives before 7pm, and priority, which arrives before 10:30am. I believe the regular costs an additional $12.99 and the priority is $14.99. I could have sweet talked the operator into comping that, but he went ahead and ordered my rezound a couple months before I'm due for an upgrade, and I didn't wanna push my luck (esp. since he said they weren't *supposed* to do early upgrades with 4G devices).

On my Thunderbolt (rooted) I go to Settings>Personalize>Display (at the bottom)>Lock Screen Shortcuts>Choose Lockscreen Shortcuts

Believe you are right. Here is the exact text from the Rezound Quick Start Guide:

SELECT THE LOCK SCREEN APP ICONS
Select the application icons that you want to
appear on the Lock screen.
1. On the Home screen, tap .
2. Go to the Display tab and tap Lock screen
shortcuts > Choose lock screen shortcuts.
3. Tap a shortcut that you want to replace,
tap the app you want, and then tap Done.

jr above is correct. It's also on pages 148-150 in your user manual. If you're still looking for a market app, Skifta should do what you're looking for. They are showing it here working w/PS3.

yea; I did the same thing before asking the question; but i noticed the razr manual was also lacking with regards to a lot of settings/features.

Along these lines, I purchased a kit with this style of case / holster combo:

I was told the case wouldn't really add bulk to the phone. Untrue!! You could fit a small child in the back of the phone, between the phone and the case.

I don't know if it's made for an extended battery, or what the story is. But I'd steer clear of this case, or the entire kit for that matter, as the screen protectors are horrible things.
