I have a pre-release Galaxy Nexus

Hey drandrew18 thanks for your posts...my main curiosity is can you make a flickr account and start uploading some of the camera's shots (and maybe some of its 1080p vids too). I want to see how she does in lower light settings (sunsets, darker rooms etc) as well as seeing how the vid camera can do fast moving things without stuttering.

My flickr is /photos/andrewmcsweeney. Its getting dark here but will see what I can do when I finish work. Will probably have to go to the cathederal during lunch tomorrow to get you some daylight pics and vids! Will get round to it very soon!
 
Do you ever find yourself hitting the soft buttons during things like pulling the shade back up, or going for the spacebar on the keyboard?

1. Can you trick face unlock with a photo?

2. Does the notification bar have music controls when music is playing? (I heard this multiple times, but I'm not sure if it's just a rumor)

3. How is the pinch-to-zoom smoothness on a webpage dense with graphics/links? When I played with the RAZR it was significantly choppier zooming in on www.sports.yahoo.com/nba than the iPhone, but I'm hoping ICS has remedied that.

4. How long does it take the camera to autofocus? Most reviewers were more concerned about demonstrating shutter speed than showing if the camera automatically focused when you point at something else.


That's all I can think of for now. Hope it's not too much!
 
Guys. Just received news that Google have asked the Samsung Mob!lers to hold fire posting any Google Nexus content until 9am tomorrow morning. Here's a question: Does the Galaxy Nexus have some sort of Swype-like keyboard installed in ICS? Or is it strictly hunt & peck?

I assumed. Well then don't mind us and our speculations. we'll have some insane story cooked up by the time you get back here. Because it is interesting they would ask you hold off.

I'll start this show. They're planning an OTA to integrate google music into the phone more and want it included in reviewing?
