Been following this thread since yesterday and can't stay away. Glad I haven't been here since the beginning because my head might have exploded by now.
 
Anyone else think that Han will not remain "Master of his own domain" for long after Steven's source's info (or lack there of)?:D

21 or 28th sounds good to me. Obviously 21st sounds better but 28th isnt the end of the world... just the 1st day of class after thanksgiving
 
I think it would be a mistake for VZW to miss out on sales next week. I'm betting 11/21 preorder. Maybe too optimistic.. but whatever...
 
FWIW,

Stopped by 3 Verizon stores today. 1 Corporate and 2 3rd Party.

The corporate store guy smiled and asked when I asked about the Nexus and said it should be here soon. Asked how soon and he couldn't tell me. Said no accesories or cases had came in yet.

When I stopped by the 3rd Party retailers, I played dumb and the first store couldnt even pronounce the ReZound right and said it had some type of beat box by Dr. Dre. I almost started laughing. But I asked about the Nexus and without hesitation she said the 28th. I left thinking how would she know when she doesnt know the Rezound.

The 3rd store didn't even have a Rezound and the guy said it wasn't out yet. I asked him about the Nexus and he also said without hesitation said the 28th.

Crazy conincidence?

Either way im getting the ReZound for now. Will return for Nexus
 
I am so glad i bought a Dinc in August to hold me over until this came out.....so happy as someone mentioned before this phone is perpetually 2 weeks away until the end of time!

I call BS (not about the source). Software issues can always be found. If something major, it would have been reported by P or Panda. This just takes the blame off of VZW and gives them more time
 
Just wanted to post this like I did near the end of the day yesterday just as a point of view of how many release days in November are left.

Not being released today and we can assume since no PR came out today that we won't see it tomorrow or Friday. That leaves next week (excluding Thursday for Thanksgiving) and then 3 days after that meaning there are only 7 days left in November for this phone to be released, which is awesome. the 28th is less than 12 days away and we've already made it this far, what's another week and a half. Just enjoy Thanksgiving and the holiday with family and friends. Don't think about the Nexus and time will fly.

If it comes earlier than the 28th then that's never a bad thing.
 
If it's still in user testing, the 28th sounds like the day.
Sigh.
Still gonna stop by the Verizon store, but I don't know what to do.

All I want is a date. I just want a guarantee that if I decide to wait until the 28th, we won't find out that it's been delayed to mid-December.
Is that too much to ask?

I will enjoy Thanksgiving and all that but I also know that I will be checking in on here as well.
I'm addicted to it like it's cocaine

FWIW, I too am using an OG Droid, and my battery is a shell of its former self in terms of ability to hold a charge. I looked online, and saw that batteries for the OG are available for under $5, shipped. I plan to buy one so I can use the OG for a music player via wifi once the GNex is available.

You think maybe VZW is stalling to get promo items developed and printed? Because they had NO CLUE this phone would be this popular?

Now we are pushing into the holiday zone, which doesn't bode well :(
