Google music also plays nice with Linux. Spotify? Not so much. Rdio works just as fine as Spotify. But like its been said above. I like owning my media. Thats why I have terabytes and terabytes of storage.... and boxes and boxes--rooms of boxes of music. What? I used to run a store. No, Im not that guy from the episode of hoarders who ran a music store and bought a warehouse to store his music.... but I may be one day. Ah, one day.
Time to go to the gym and get out some frustration.
I never did see a response from @VZWSupport to the twitter poll. Bastards.
A series of wormholes developed by NASA and the HSA (Hawaiian Space Administration) that is designed to connect our planet to other galaxies all throughout the solar system. You'll be able to travel seamlessly to nearby stars and even other universes without leaving the comfort of your own home.
It's expected to release in the next week or two.
The preorders that are available in how many ever countries except the US. I would put money down that if T-Mobile was the carrier, they at least would have announced a date by now.Where is this info coming from?
Were you just looking for results or did you have a question or something? Because the results were there. Click on results: and there is no question what people were wanting. The hands down winners were around device launches, OS updates, and Other (code for us anyway, for SGN)
Hey ladies and gentlemen, I sent an email earlier to the Vice President of National Customer service, got an email back asking for my cell number, just got a call back. Here are the main points:
1. He says that he is not aware of a specific launch date, and that even in his department they don't know until a day or two ahead of time, but that they would definitely want to start selling it before Black Friday.
2. I told him that I was disappointed in the lack of info and that I was either considering going to AT&T or "renting" an HTC device (yeah, I said it.) He replied that he would appreciate it if I didn't do that, and that he would be more than happy to send me another phone that I could return once the SGN came out "which wouldn't be very long at all, maybe a week or two at the most".
3. He reset my return/exchange grace period and I can now take advantage of the extended holiday return period in case I don't like the Nexus (ha!)
4. He applied another $50 loyalty discount to my account.
5. I'm getting a "like new" DINC2 tomorrow via FedEx to hold me over.
Guys, I know that I will sound like a total windsock, but Verizon really impressed me today.
My hope is renewed, my hope is renewed!!!

Guys, guys, let's calm down. Verizon just wants what's best for us.
It will come when it comes.
Let's not rush the chick in cracking its shell.
It will come when it comes.

Han that's the exact thing that happened to me. If you are on these forums and you haven't done this yet, what are you waiting for? It seems that it is their decision to pay us $50 each for being interested enough in the Gnex to write to them.
I would be pretty happy with a release date of the 28th...that's my birthday and the GN would be one hell of a present!
Not results....VZWSupport's response to the results.
So Duarte said at roughly the 25 minute mark on The Verge that you'll be able to purchase it in November. But he did use the word "purchase" and not "have"
On The Verge 001 full episode: Matias Duarte, Lytro camera, Droid RAZR, Kindle Fire, HTC Titan - YouTube
I can't recall if someone mentioned this earlier in the thread or not?

I'm actually rather stoked with the new Google music so that took the misery of the gnex release date not being anounced today
But probably delayed... DAMN YOU NASA.

Every other Nexus phone has been released in the US with or before the worldwide release. Leave it to Verizon to screw it up.
Wow, this thread ground to a screeching halt!
everyone...and I mean everyone...is sharing music on Google+ ... they will be back soon
Eh? I've had no trouble at all w/Spotify's native Linux client. It doesn't really follow window manager conventions, but is otherwise reasonably feature complete and works fine.Google music also plays nice with Linux. Spotify? Not so much. Rdio works just as fine as Spotify.
