Yeah not only that but do you seriously believe XDA will not have a working version of Flash to download and install? I do remember reading that Adobe is no longer going to support mobile devices though.

jeeze, people need to chill about flash. it just hasn't been marked as compatible for android 4.0. The phone is barely even out yet. they'll get to it.

I'm blessed my wife wants me to find out all I can about the phone because I'm getting her one and she wants me to teach her about ICS and the GN.

Google didn't - ADOBE did. Apparently they gave up trying to get mobile Flash optimized. Soooo...
We'll wait for a dev to port Flash to the Nexus. Give it a matter of days, if not hours.
That sucks. To me that was always a huge drawback of the Iphone. That eliminates viewing a lot of videos.

Here's what I'm thinking. I buy a ski mask. I come to your store, causually walk around for awhile looking at stuff. I slowing meander toward the employees only area. In a sudden burst of speed, I rush through the rear doors, putting on the ski mask at the same time. I rip open the box, get a quick look, and run out the back door to the getaway car I have waiting. Sound cool?

Incorrect, they announced that they weren't going to be developing new versions of flash for mobile devices but that they were going to continue supporting existing versions and providing maintenance updates. It really bothers me that this has been circulated around the blogs as if they are no longer supporting it at all.

I forget which ones but I do know that there are 2 sites that work without flash. Not from personal experience, someone told me of course.

Suggestion for Verizon to make more money:
They should have a pre-release and charge more. Let's say the retail with 2 year is $300 on this phone with a November 21 release.
They should do a release on November 7 at $500 and another on November 14 at $400.
I think that Verizon could make $100Ks just from the people on our forum here alone!

Got some more good news friends.
A co-worker of mine is a former VZW employee with the corporate folks in product development (she continues to talk about it as if it was the best job she's ever had). I did a little massaging of the ego and asked her to get some intel on our favorite little guy here. After a few hours later this is the text I received:
She specifically clarified my request for a release date. In our current line of business, ECD means Estimated Completion Date. No word back whether that's in store or online... but nonetheless, sounds more n more like we're in for a fun ride next week.
