So this may be a stupid question, but if you order online, how long do you guys think it would take to ship? I know for replacement devices, they overnight them, but would this be the same thing? Or is it standard shipping and it will take till Friday to receive the device anyways?

I bet there is an option to pay more for an expedited order. If so I'll be opting for it

#1 - Nothing for sure is happening on Monday
#2 - If it is, we do not know if it is an order or preorder
#3 - If preorder... who knows
#4 - If order then yes, next day

I'm wondering if overnight is an option too... if not, it might be worth a call to a rep to see if THEY can overnight it to you.

Time to de-lurk, I suppose.

I am a happy owner of a Samsung Fascinate. When I say "happy" I mean it: my phone still feels new to me after more than a year (thanks to CyanogenMod), and I was fully prepared to finish out my two years. Then, out of the blue, Verizon informed me I was eligible for an early upgrade (I got in before those were discontinued, apparently). So now suddenly I desperately need the Galaxy Nexus, even though there is really nothing wrong with my Fascinate. I'm actually going to be sorry to retire it.

It's funny... I've been saying ever since the ICS event that I'm in no hurry for the Nexus, and yet I've gotten hooked on this INSANE forum. Mainly just because I think the whole business of leaks and rumors and sleuthing for clues is loads of fun. I went through the same thing waiting for the Fascinate, and it was pretty much exactly like this. I was truly obsessive then, making charts of rumored dates and deriving my own predictions.

I think I've figured out what's going on with Verizon. Consider all of the reports of Verizon insiders all saying "this is what I've heard," but somehow NONE of them are actually involved in the decision. My conclusion: nobody is actually making the decision, because they all think someone else is.

I picture some high-level meeting happening right about now:

"So, there's a lot of interest in the Galaxy Nexus. Have you decided on a release date?"

"Huh? I thought you were deciding."

"No way, I thought *you* were deciding!"

Hey, it fits the facts.

I'm off work today, enjoying a cup of coffee at Barnes and Noble. Considering walking over to the Verizon store just for grins. Maybe if I tell them that the consensus is a Monday release, they'll go along with it.

So, I am just going to throw this out there. I think Wednesday would be the best bet for Verizon, if it is going to be relased next week. It sounds like some stores have, accessories, phones, demos, etc...but not all of them do. Maybe they will all be getting deliveries on Monday-Tuesday, and the release will be on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday seem like the absolute worst choice they could make. Obviously it won't won't be Thanksgiving, and Black Friday is just an insane idea.

Great post and welcome ex-lurkie!

One of my favorite episodes.... Kramer is the best character ever to be on television, IMHO. The only way his character would have been better?

If he had been named Nexus instead od Cosmo :D

Ha, yeah just saw the swimming in the east river ep last night, still epic and hilarious!

Been messaging with the Seido guys on here - for those of you who have been asking about accessories, they said their's would be available in Mid-December most likely.

MORE CONFIRMATION OF GOOD NEWS

Sorry about the big font, but it'd get lost otherwise in the sea of chaos this thread has become.

I texted my sister about how stupid and idiotic her company is. She texted back:

So the "good news" is that your sister thinks you're an idiot? I'm confused... :p

So I noticed the battery in this video is a 1750 mAh, not 1850 mAh (3.7 v/6.48 Wh). Perhaps this was a pre-production/demo unit? It is definitely branded as Verizon on the back, but I thought we'd heard 1850 mAh in the LTE device?

It's been pretty much confirmed it will be an 1850mah battery
