NO 32GB on BIG RED??

The folks on here are thinking that it was a typo and that vzw will offer the 32gb... Nothing at all has been confirmed yet. They are keeping this thing more hush hush than iphone

How about a link in your post so people know what your talking about?

I'll believe it when I see it. At this point, rumors are running way too rampantly for me to believe anything now. This is the most anticipated Android phone this year, so people are going to read way too into things and tip off news sites about every little thing, just so they make it into the news.

I wouldn't start rioting about it yet. I have a hard time believing the would be restricted to selling just the 16 GB version on Verizon. If they did though, they better not be trying to sell it for $300. $200 would be more in line with the 16 GB iPhone 4S. LTE be damned.

I would gladly buy a 16gb for $200... I have all my music on google music anyway.

This is the problem with VZW. They do not know how to get a good smartphone and release it. As bad as Apple is, they know how to announce a phone. They announce it, give a release date, demo, and launch. VZW? They say nothing, make you bend over, take it from behind (hopefully with KY), and then ask for more.

If this is true I might as well keep my Droid Charge. This is a big deal breaker for me.

Me too, I think I'll just wait a month or two since my X still running like a champ. This phone is losing its appeal everyday now with Verizon business methods. Hopefully Amazon will sell it for a penny soon.....

I've been keeping an eye on the Rezound threads lately. It's been giving me a sense of calm amidst this GN circus. If I got a Rezound, I'd plan to flash ICS on that bad boy anyway. And from what I'm reading overall, ICS-aside, the GN is basically average...especially when you consider the thicker LTE version.

This overnight secret spec updating was probably my last straw. This is like crack though, so I'll probably be waffling for the next few weeks anyway!

I would prefer an option to buy the 16gb version for $200. That's enough storage for me and i can save $100. I would probably pass on 16gb for $300 though. I would probably go with another device and use CM9 to get ICS

If this phone is a good price off-contract, then I might consider buying. Until then, Like the Dabitz, I'll keep my Droid X running ICS-MIUI. Really want those features though =\

Vzw just killed the Nexus if that's the case! 16gig is not enough memory for the Power users that prefer the a pure Vanilla Android experience.

Twitter sources are still saying that there was never a 16gb model for Verizon. That it was always 32. I don't see a company like Verizon settling for a lesser model. Just my opinion. Though i still would prefer a $200 16gb model :P

The thing about the Rezound is that it's locked down pretty tight; temporary root, S-ON, tightly locked bootloader.....I don't see this device getting much in the way of dev action.

I agree here, especially with release of Google Music. Switching to Google Music has removed >12GB of space from my SD Card, lol. Most the other space is for ROMs and Nandroids. It'll be a while before I flash anything but Kernels on the Nexus if I get it, lol. Depending on the price difference, I may also opt for the 16GB, though I suspect we won't be getting that one either. The Verizon version is meant to be LTE and 32GB giving it the slight edge.

Verizon will make more money selling the 16gb version instead of the 32GB version at the same price. If you want 32GB and expandable storage, then Verizon has the RAZR and Rezound to sell you.

I hope I am wrong, but there are enough valid reasons for Verizon to prefer the 16GB flavor Nexus.

It is not really 16gb for media:

16gb -1.1 gb for formatting = 14.9gb
14.9gb - 2gb for OS, stock apps and system allocation = 12.9gb
Balance must also be shared with user installed apps and data

Net result is a device not suited for anyone that prefers their data stored locally.

guys calm down the testing unit for verizon is 32gb so I doubt it will be 16gb btw it is not the pretties phone but I love it anyway and the screen is great. Love ICS!!

I travel a lot, so relying on cloud data is not an option. Also do not like how the battery drains quicker when streaming music or video, rather than playing locally. Sound quality also does not seems as good for higher bit files.

People that like media on their device that buy this with a capped data plan will be $crewed. ASSUMING the 16gb version is released.

Only kicker is when has VZW ever got the higher end version of any Samsung device? They have not and the other carriers get the better versions (more flash). Though the 32gb version may pan out, history of VZW choices with Samsung is not a good trend to go by for it.

Galaxy Nexus

WTF - Memory - 16gb!!!!!

SO - is this final words from google?

Now let's keep our hair on folks. Remember, they have only released the European version at the moment. So couldn't they very likely only post those specs at the moment?

Let's not be like Apple and blow things out of proportion before it gets released and really know what we are dealing with.

I saw that you edited this comment because they aren't just showing the European version at the moment. The size spec on that site is for the LTE Verizon. The battery size is for the LTE Verizon version. And the data spec highlights LTE/CDMA, so no - this is not the European version. Why would would they make the memory spec for Europe, but the rest of the page for US/LTE?
