Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Has anyone else tried netflix since installing ctmod. I doubt it has anything to do with it, but I am getting nothing but fc's from it. And this is the first time I have tried to use it since ctmod installation.

did it work for you on stock Gingerbread?
 
I notice I can't seem to find a way to change my wallpaper on this ROM. When I try it through the desktop menu, it says there's no application that can do this. Also, I notice the camera button crashes Zeam.

Any ideas on how I can remedy this?

I'm working on fixing that. right now the only thing you can do to stop it is pull the stock camera.apk put of the apps zip in the first post and follow the instructions to install it

I have launcher pro and stock camera. Both work perfectly. I also used launcher which works too. I swapped both out before I loaded the Rom.
 
For those who were struggling at installing this ROM, let me tell you this:

After a few days of using this ROM, all I can think of is "Why don't they ship the device with this ROM on the first place?".

This may seem a bit hyperbolic with praise, but this isn't just any ROM. This is a fantastic feat of engineering here. The device is lightning fast, resource efficient, and Android in a pure state. I said this earlier, it's B&W minimalist theme and structure reminds me of my fave Linux distro in Crunchbang. For tweakers and hobbyists, it's fantastic. I love the fact that I can add what I want, and don't have what I don't want installed already. Bloodawn should be showered in rose petals on his way to the thrown in the Kingdom of Rome for what he as well as the others who are responsible for this project have done.

I'm running ctmod now and I love it...only thing is when I use the market and look for Apps like titanium backup and NFL 2011, they do not show up, and so I thought that's OK I will just take the apps from my computer and put it on...
And so I did but after I install the Apps and try to open them it tells me I need to update my client and takes me to the market to do it but once again the apps do not show up for me to do so. What do I need to do to fix this issue? I have done a reset and Odin twice. And it has not helped

As for the camera button not working, my work around is to you use the camera app instead of the side button and it works just fine for me.

This ROM ROCKS! I've been running it since it was released and I can't say enough good about it. Absolutely fantastic. Minimalistic, fantastic batery life, fast, and solid.

Bloodawn for president. Hopefully he could trim the gov't down too!
 
Been very happy with CT2.1 :D been 3 days since i needed to restart.... before that i had to restart almost once a day! Great work looking forward to your next release!
 
First off been running CTMOD 2.1 for awhile now and all I can say is that this mod rocks! Super stable and clean, runs smooth as well. I've been able to get apps installed that I was not able to before.

The only issue I'm having Bloodawn is that sometimes the WIFI isn't picking up the nearby wifi locations. Example, when I go to the University I know there is like 4 or 5 wifi's I can connect to. I do have wifi on but for some reason it never lists them in the connection list. It used to before so I'm not sure if it's hotspot monitoring was turned off or something. I've had to install a wifi scanner app to find the nearby wifi's and connect to them. Normally I can do this with the android stock ability, any ideas what could be causing this?

Did it work alright in 2.0? i changed something with the wifi scanner in 2.1 to increase battery life a little. If it worked fine in 2.0 ill change it back
 
bloodawn, I love this rom!!!!!! GPS is so/so but who cares. battery lasts longer, phone is faster,and I like having the option to put what I want on now that I got it working thanks to lizz. is the launcher the best one you recommend? I'm glad I gave it a second chance, this blows cm7 out of the water. I apologize fir any rude behavior I may have expressed - was long day and 6hrz of trying to get phone working properly
ill continue to post progress and assistant anyone I can, did that Guy requesting video get it sorted out? I gave him simply guide to install


Edit :: when I try to select wireless networks it crashers launcher?

I'm curious about this as well. I love NFL 11, but even when I try to install it off the browser it won't let me.
