I don't think you guys are being fair to him. The info he got was probably true at the time. We've already established that Verizon seems to be constantly changing their mind and finding reasons to push out the release.

The manager could also be screwing with him, vs him screwing with us.

LOL..... ok...

The stories don't sound the least bit contrived to you?

Also, 50 seems like a very large initial order for one store. Considering the are selling like 1 RAZR a week.

Some members seem to be discrediting everything positive that's posted without backing their accusations. If you can't prove that the provider of resourceful and optimistic information is completely false then maybe you should keep those negative attitudes to yourself.

Everyone is just frustrated with being falsely built up with misinformation.

This is probably true actually. The stores ordered HUGE numbers of RAZRs. My local store still has 30+ laying around according to my rep, Verizon really expected that phone to sell well.

I do agree with you, but perhaps he should have left that part out aboutthe manager selling it to him early. Makes it sounds contrived. Just an observation.

Anyway - we have all heard rumors and opinions of when the phone will be released. None if us can prove that anyone is right or wrong. Plus, this is why we are all here. To share what we know, and share in the communal suffering until release. :p:D

Understandably so...all I'm saying is that's not a license to demean positive info because it seems to good to be true. Because the last leak before the phone is released will most likely be questioned as legit.

Wait....You're just a Scott sticking up for another Scott, of course you're gonna be biased in his favor. You can never trust a goup of Scotts, that's what my momma always told me.

Whoa whoa whoa wait. So you are saying people who are discrediting without backing their accusations are worse than the people who claim good news without backing THEIR information. I'm sorry but saying my moms piano's student's mother told me this or my local store rep texted me this does NOT back any information so by your logic they are equally as bad.

No sir not discrediting just questioning. He has no solid info to discredit just information put out last week that came and went which could have been absolutely true and things got pushed back. Folks spend a lot of time debating on whether a picture is true or not that is posted in the forum...I only point out last information he posted did not happen and then this new information is posted and I am curious at how many are out there just having a good ole time tossing stuff out messing w/ everyone.

50 doesn't sound like a large order to me at all. That's probably 1 single box (of course we are all just guessing and speculating)

Maybe that's because everything that's been positive has thus far been wrong. Every time a date or other information isn't well received, it's also chastised for being incorrect. The knife cuts both ways.

Anyone, and I mean anyone, can claim they spoke to a store manager who claims to be getting a shipment of XXXXX devices. Enough people have speculated about a release this coming week that people will inevitably start this ball rolling so they can claim to have had a source with reliable information...Fact is, he posted yet another incorrect nugget of information on Reddit. It is what it is, but don't blame those of us that view his "information" with skepticism to be negative nancys. Negative, possibly. Seeking the truth, definitely. We are the 1%

OK here's a scenario...what if somebody on this board gets real concrete info about the launch but is hesitant to share for fear of rejection by the naysayers. All I'm simply implying is take what you hear with a grain of salt but don't attack just because you choose to not believe.
