Root Evo 4g Camera Failure

Alright I made the backup file, but at least at this point with tinkering with stuff, I know that the camera is not working due to software not HW, ocn, is it possible for my to get a nandroid backup from someone else, one that has a working camera?
I don't quite see how Read/copying the contents of the nandroid backups could help me.

you can pull the camera apk from the nandroid backup that you have that works. but yes you can try and get it from an external source as well. or you can try and flash another rom and see if you can get the camera to work. what rom are you on now?

I'm currently on MIUI-110210, I have flashed serveral different roms to find that the Camera fails on each one.
update:Attempted to run the backup file then flashed the unandroid-signed, and the backup file actually progressed further than usual then it had the error... I booted up the phone and the camera now works(due to the increased progression of the loading the backup I assume), I'm going to reboot and see if the camera still continues to work, then will make a backup again. update v2: The camera continues to work.
Not knowing much about backups I'm backing up EVERYTHING data/cache/sd_ext and such

And now its not working again....attempting to run the backup in hopes to fixing it..so as of now
I have no good backup files, any suggestions?
update:SUPERWIPED, reflashed, nandroid restored = Failed
Power cycle (Power off phone take battery out for about 5 minutes) = Success
But I feel like thats unnecessary..is there a fix for that?

yeah i have no idea what is going on with your camera issue. seems kind of odd. it might be a hardware issue. as you have the same thing going on with other roms. maybe try the rooted stock rom and see if you have the same issues. you might need to unroot it and make sure that is the case and then take it in.

Yeah, I'll definitely take a look into that..sad thing for me is the local sprint store (When I am home that is...) pretty much stopped stocking up on the EVO, so when I do need a replacement they have to order one, and do the swap in the store. and I just recently swapped this evo for my old broken one. regardless I guess I'll have to find out, thanks Ocn for giving me suggestions and tips.
