Help [Vodafone] dropped evo 3d on concrete surface, cover bent, what to do?

I dropped my evo 3d on a concrete foot path with the screen facing down, and the top of the cover bent and is sticking out of the phone on top left side, where the camera would be on the right. Has anyone have something similar happen and what do you recommend i do. I was thinking maybe use a heat gun and then try to bend the metal but i doubt it would work. The phone is on a Vodafone Australian 2 year contract.

here are some images of the damage Photo Album - Imgur

Heat my be a little too dangerous that close to the screen. I recommended bending as much back into place as you can, and getting a strong case, like an OtterBox to cover your device from future falls; if you choose not to put it on your insurance if you opted for it.

I use an OtterBox Defender. Works wonders to keep it from being broken. I show it off by tossing it on the floor from about 5 feet to try an sway potential owners to purchase one. It even saved my device when it took a swim in the toilet (NOT RECOMMENDED), the case is not waterproof.

Hi guys i wanted to ask if any of you know how the front housing bezel that i bent (see above images) is stuck to the front of the evo. Is it clicked on, glued on? any help would be great as i found a replacement online but i couldn't find any guides on replacing it(HTC Evo 3D Front Housing Bezel Replacement). This is the first phone i am attempting to fix my self so i just wanted to know if i do order the replacement if i could do it myself. I went to the local phone repairs store and they said they couldn't help me.
I you can direct me to a guide, or have any insight i'd much appreciate it, thanks.

I would dremel or cut off the damaged part and then put it in a nice case like an otterbox defender to hide the damage. I don't think you would even be able to tell at all and you'd be protected from future mishaps.

thanks for the advice, so you don't think its worth to buy the replacement for 25$ and repairing it my self.
p.s doesn't the otter box make the phone look to big and hefty? and lol that is a really funny signature ;)

You can get slimmer cases that would cover up that damage. But if you're so inclined to try the bezel replacement, more power to you! Maybe a case could be a back up plan if the bezel replacement doesn't go as planned.

yeah i have been looking for a case but i couldn't really find any hard ones, only silicone ones at the local stores. I might be giving the phone to my dad, and he would appreciate the otter box case as he works in construction. For myself i wouldn't really want to use a big case. Ill probably do what you suggested, attempt to replace the bezel, and if it doesn't work ill just slap a case on it.
