Good Happy Thanksgiving Day morning to you all as we patiently wait for our new tech toys to be released. Between waiting on the Gnex and the Transformer Prime, I'm thinking maybe I need to give up my tech addiction.

NAH! :-)

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!!

Go Raven's

Happy Thanksgiving to Phases, our most excellent Mods, and great AF Members!

Most of us are worried about eating too much stuff today while planning our Black Friday/Cyber Monday strategies, getting ready for some serious football on the big TV, and waiting to throw money at Verizon for a Galaxy Nexus and lots of accessories.

Let's face it, folks: we have a WHOLE LOT to be thankful for.

I hope you'll join me in taking a few minutes out of the busy-ness of the day to consider how truly fortunate we all are. After all... that's what the day is for :)

One day closer to Nexus and: this is THE DAY we break the post record! WHOOT

Shocking, I wake up and the first thing I do is hop on here to check what is going on. Of course I knew there would be no update but I could not resist. Do not tink I will not check in a few more times today. Still lots of money on the table in a few of the games today, good luck to the sports investors!

Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to those hitting the road.

In all fairness, that's a guess as well. ;)

But it is fact that the LTE model hadn't been finalized by the date of the HK announcement. If it was, they could have specified an exact thickness.

The part about Google not being ready for early November is a guess on my part from tweets and inference from my source. The part about Google and Samsung being ready for the 17th is a fact given from my source who is enough a part of this they are under a NDA.

The swapping out for a bigger battery doesn't mean the specs weren't finalized. It isn't like they wouldn't know the measurements of either choice.

Off-Topic: The Muppets was great.

I have swung back the other way toward the Rezound again. There are already a lot of developers for it, it has better specs than the GNex. I am starting to wonder why I want the GNex so badly...

Am I falling into their trap?

I just got the obligatory, "I will be so glad when that phone finally comes out! All you do is sit at your laptop and hit the F5 key, it's Thanksgiving, give it a rest why dontcha?"

Happy Thanksgiving Forum Family! I'll see you all later tonight after the Dinc thread record has been broken. I'm off to Atlanta for the day.

Its not an NFC West game tomorrow so don't count on an easy win. Ravens have been inconsistent this year but when they're on they are ON!! Ray Lewis being hurt will help...........

No offense, but that's such a tired statement about the NFC West. The 49ers have 9 wins this year and only 2 have come against the NFC West. They have beaten Philly, Washington, Detroit and Cincy all on the road. Embarrassed a good Tampa team by 43 points at home, and beat a very good NY Giants team two weeks ago. Their defense has yet to allow a rushing TD this year, which is just a ridiculous stat and the team rarely makes mistakes in all three phases of the game. Besides, didn't Baltimore leave Seattle with their tail between their legs just two weeks ago?? Last time I checked, Seattle played in the NFC West.......

Better specs? How so... processor, screen, NFC, form factor, stock ICS, etc.... all favor the Nexus.

Screen is higher res (dpi), cameras are higher res, and it's known to be good camera hardware (from the slide 4g), sd card slot, not plasticky samsung construction.

EDIT: gpu is supposedly better.

ReZound: 1.5 Ghz S3, 1 GB RAM, 720p S-LCD, 1600-ish mAh battery, 2.3 w/ Sense
Nexus: 1.2 Ghz OMAP 4460, 1 GB RAM, 720p SAMOLED, 1850 maH battery, 4.0 with updates from Google

Despite the higher clocked processor, the OMAP > S3. Same RAM. Screen is personal preference, but IMO AMOLED is a much better display than LCD not to mention sucks up less battery, bigger battery on the Nexus, much better software support.

I don't see how anyone can think the ReZound's specs are so much better than the Nexus. If anything they are just about equal. But I guess it is down to personal preference. Just get what works best for you

I haven't seen anything saying the camera in the Rezound is better (just higher MP, which does not necessarily translate to better images), screen is S-LCD and both are 720P, SD card IMHO is not needed on a 32Gb device plus you have MTP and PTP to transfer anything you need, and the build quality is just fine from what I've read. Oh well - that is what makes Android great, the number of choices we all have.

Happy Thanskgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving Nexicanos! Has anyone seen my Nexus?

Edit: 200! (Of course I had almost 20,000 on the last forum I frequented...grumble)

I think they're pretty close. If only the GNex had a few things from the Rezound it would be much easier.
