No offense meant to TeddyEarp, but who is he and why should we be worried?

hans, mind if i shoot you a pm?
Nah, there's no possibility of skipping the trip. We'll be hitting Red River in NM first, then heading up your way.
Can't wait!!
Glad to here that!! Where you planning to hit in CO?
Hopefully you'll have your Nex to take pictures with by then![]()
I went out for a run today. It went well and I vowed not to overeat. For the first time I succeeded. I'd been eating only fish, no mean, foul, dairy or eggs, since June. I decided to break that for today only. I'm glad I did.
My wife's cooking is amAzing. Kudos to Mrs.58.
This Thanksgiving was and is a particular blessing to me because of the changes I see in my family.
The kids are growing up. My daughter will be 23 and my son will be 18. Big difference. My kids are big time wiseguys. (I don't know where they got that from) During the meal, my 17 year old begins with all that he's thankful for. (shock). Okay, I thought. Then my wife goes, and I go and my daughter goes. It was a special moment. Generally, during holiday meals, my daughter (when she was a teen) would get all offended and storm off. I guess those days are over.
I told my children how proud I am of them and they they needed to let that sink in deep. Their father approves of them and is proud of the way they carry themselves. They're good people. I expressed thanks for my wife of 32 years (still amazingly more beautiful than women our age and younger.. I told her that.).
What a great day.
Finally, I want to tell you how grateful I am for this place and specifically for you guys. You make me laugh. I appreciate you all.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Steven
Edit: OH! OH! Funniest moment..... I got up to get more iced tea for the family. As I approached my son, I stepped on his foot. (He had no shoes on and it hurt). He loudly expressed his displeasure.
I then said, "I didn't mean it." To which my daughter replied, "Anybody want a peanut?" I could NOT stop laughing. I'm laughing as I write this. I told her she won dad's "line of the day" award.![]()
It's an ongoing argument right now between Vail, Purgatory in Durango, or Beaver Creek. We're flying into ABQ, heading up to Red River, and then driving to Colorado. I'm not a huge fan of driving long distances, so I'm pushing for Purgatory, but Vail is slowly gaining ground.![]()
Glad to hear your Thanksgiving went well, Steven
Also, I didn't quite get the joke at the end. Care to elaborate?

Don't think anyone else already posted this but engadget just posted a pretty detailed review of the HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. (Sorry I didn't put a link, it won't let me post any til I post a certain amount of times). Anyways, happy Thanksgiving everyone and I hope the Nexus comes out soon!

Have you seen the Princess Bride?
If not, watch it soon. It's a classic.
