I got up at 5am this morning, got what I needed saved a few hundred dollars. Now at work struggling to stay awake. Phone hasn't rang in over an hour, no boss here, why am I?

Hey! We did it!

Woo hoo!!

Is there a reason why the RAZR and Bionic aren't really discounted that much on Costco, but HTC is?

Strange.

Hmmmm...good question. Something to think about for those of you (Han and MoPhO) ready to jump ;)

I have perused the Rezound threads, and there is some mention of lag. Maybe the phone just isn't selling well

My concern on the HTC... why is it so cheap? Aren't the headphones supposedly worth $50+? I am afraid that the phone has some cheaper parts to keep the price so low/heavily discounted. Just a curious thing, seems like it would be more than the RAZR and be slower to get discounted.

I guess Costco/Amazon are really the ones discounting though, not VZW or HTC.

such a win/lose situation on the most epic thread. on one hand, we not have the biggest and most epic thread in AF history, on the other, we would all rather not have had it and have had the phone release weeks ago without delay

not sure if the ear buds are the same ones they sell in stores or if they are cheaper versions made just to include with phones, but in stores they are usually ~$130

For all of you ready to jump to another phone. Just wait. I know it is miserable, trust me I have been waiting for this phone since the Samsung Galaxy S 2 was announced and went to every carrier except Verizon. We know that in, at most, a couple of weeks we will have this phone in our hands and all of that waiting would have been worth it.

I follow games a lot and this is something I have to deal with a lot, delays. Gears of War 3 was delayed almost a whole year before I could get it. Sure it seemed like forever for that 9 month delay, but I am playing the game now and it was worth it all! Half-Life 3 or Half-Life 2: Episode 3 has been talked about since 2007 and has yet to see the light of day.

Just be patient and in the end it will have been worth every moment!

Any guesses on what the final post count will be before the fetus drops?

My guess:

62,497.

The one I played with at bestbuy had all sorts of lag. It seemed pork too. I thought I'd like it coming from a dinc but I couldn't wait to get it out of my hand. IMO HTC has been going downhill in design and quality since the dinc.

I'm not going to jump on you, but I am going to say something about this:

1) 1.2 Ghz OMAP 4460 > 1.5 Ghz S3
2) Screen is better in the GNex
3) NFC (You may or may not use this)
4) Updates...updates...updates
5) Even Engadget said this is the best Android phone of all time, and could be the best phone EVER made
One of mine main reasons to wait is the NFC. I just like the idea to be able to scan any RFID chips near me. Another reason is the OTG USB, whenever they actually enable it in ISC. I also like that the app space on the phone is not limited to a fix size.
