If you want to make a new call button feel free, I was thinking about replacing it

I dunno about the in call buttons. I'm happy with the way they look atm
 
I don't know if this was mentioned, but the browser crashes when you click on the downloads menu.
It is a solved by adding "DownloadProviderUi.apk" back into the mix.
I think this should be included in the next release it only takes up 65kb.

Bug Report!? lol When in the Wireless & Network Settings menu I get a bad error when clicking on mobile settings. It says: Sorry! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. --- I'm getting this over and over when trying to get into the mobile menu. Has this been reporting already!? I'm also running Apps2SD Darktremor... it also won't let me enter the Mobile Settings. :/

!!!UPDATE!!! I just did a system restore from CWM and removed APPS2SD Darktremor and I'm still getting this error/bug that isn't letting me into mobile settings!? So... I'm stumped because this is a fresh install of CTMod for Gingerbread.

Help is appreciated.. :) Thanks! Nate

it does that because i removed the data throttle, if you want to disable 3g just use the widget
 
Verson 2.2
Switched over to KoumaKernel 1.0
Boot Animations are fixed and enabled now
Removed brightness widget till i get it working
Fixed Bluetooth to not depend on Music.apk
Removed Music.apk and replaced it with Miui Music(its lighter, faster and doesn't automatically start up)
Added QuickPic so people would quit asking how to change wallpaper
Updated Zeam and Superuser to the newest version
Finished up more of the theming

Camera button is still messed up but heres a workaround:
Install THIS open it and set the search button for Camera, Long pressing the search button will now open camera without any problems and you can still use the shutter button to take pictures

Heres some screens of some of the changes

I have thanked and been thanked numerous times in this forum. Your post is the least helpful of all. Take a look at the site rules. When people are looking for information, it is better to supply it, than just laugh at them.
 
How can one go about upgrading without wiping all of their data?
Another upgrade patch perhaps?

I changed alot in 2.2 so i won't be doing a patch. You might be able to get away without doing a factory reset and just wiping dalvik. Make a backup first tho
 
How do I go about installing it without clearing my data/settings?
I understand it may not work, I just need to know the method to do this.

Just installed CTMOD 2.2 and Reinstalled Inigo's A2SD. Was on 2.1 before. So far so good. Bit the bullet and did a factory wipe from CWM. I forgot that it formats the sd-ext too. No big deal. Got Titanium and CWM backups. Probably will reinstall a lot from market just to be safe.

Obviously, WIFI tether is working because I am using it now and have not put Phandroid back on. BTW, Like an idiot I have been downloading to the laptop and then transferring to the phone. This time I downloaded 2.2 using Phandroid and it sure saved a lot of time. Duh! Of course, it is good to have that stuff on the laptop just in case. I guess I am getting used to using the damn phone for everything. Except ODIN. Old dog, new tricks.

Have not done a complete wipe in a while so needed to be done. A2SD working like it should. Like the new bootani and the colorful icons. Speed seems at least as good as before, probably better. Getting spoiled by this ROM. Never used QuickPic but I never really cared much for Gallery anyway.

I put the GoogleSearchBox.apk back in system because I like using the search key to bring that up. Also, reinstalled Gmail.

I think I had 116MB free before when I was on 2.1 with a lot of apps. at 145MB now but have not restored much yet. Love that A2SD! Thanks Inigo!

I could care less about the camera button as it has usually been a nuisance when I hit it by mistake. When I use the camera I can start the app from the drawer and then I suppose the shutter button will work.

Thanks once again BD for your blood, sweat and tears.

And Thank you Thanksgiving LOONG weekend so that I have time to jump on this right away for a change!
 
I couldnt wait to sink my teeth into CTMod2.2. Like double d cups lol :D

1. Install went smoothly as per your instructions on the first page.
2. I'll be installing my apps and using my phone for work all day Saturday.

I'll be back with my final thoughts.

It is zeam launcher. I think that somewhere on this thread someone explains how to do that stuff in fairly great detail.

Back to Phandroid. So too lazy for verbosity.
 
Wow! That wipe must have helped. Restored the apps I had before and a couple more. Now showing 134MB in settings and TB says 140MB. TB backup apps and data says 26 users apps and 70 data. Got a few installed as system. Like the new look of text messaging.

One question and I noticed this on 2.1 also. When it boots up while it is doing all the SD check stuff, if I go to notifications, I can sometimes catch a quick progress bar flashing like it is downloading something. Very quick and then it is gone. Because of the font, I cannot see the name of what it is downloading. What would that be, I wonder?

This thing is fast. Videos play better than ever even though Boost has a one or two bar signal usually at my house.

Its not downloading anything, thats just the media scanner progress bar
 
Hey thanks to you both that was driving me insane now i wanna remove I just need to know i could i guess looks beet without it
 
Bloodawn, I am absolutely enjoying this rom. Thank you for all your hard work. 2.2 is very fluid, and the finished theming looks great. I am running 714mb of data apps with dta2sd with 126mb free in data. No issues what so ever.

I got it to work, but bluetooth was not transferring files so I went back to the gingerbread bluetooth and all is good.
What i did was flash to 2.2, then restore only the data portion of my backup.

I replaced miui music with gingerbread music as well (which I prefer).
I did however switch from gallery to quickpic!

Looks good, you eliminated most of the orange!
The only orange I still see is in some of the keyboard instances on the suggestive text copy.

Great job!
Also, i'm glad you liked my call button!
If you ever need a hand with ui graphics let me know!
