In a perfect world I could see that happening. But the reality is - we don't even know if the "delay" was Verizon's fault/problem or not. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. I will be getting this phone, no matter the price.

Talking sale prices - if a Rezound goes for anywhere from a penny to 50 bucks, 200 for a Nexus isn't impossible.

World of difference between a bikini on a stamp-pad sized photo and something large that makes the boss, co-workers or kiddos spin their heads around.

Truly I thought about throwing in a non traditional statement about who he needs to keep her away from but I'm trying to behave and didn't want to offend Gapi since she is only 14, or get in trouble with any of our "parents" for stepping out of line
So, $199.99 pre-order + Dec. 8th release? Makes sense, I guess. I'll be looking firward to it
$199 is highly unlikely IMO, that was a black friday sale that never happened.

But if you think about it, there's no reason they couldn't, considering the fact that Samsung manufactures its own flash storage instead of relying on a 3rd party manufacturer. Plus, +16GB for -$100 would be a really competitive price, and flash storage costs decrease with time anyways.

Pre-order, but it depends which gets me the phone soonest; online or store. The guys at my store are pretty chill but I've heard reports of web orders of other phones shipping early.

the benefit of pre order is being guaranteed a launch day device and not having to have a sales rep try to sell you extra accessories or try to set it up for you. and with the demand this phone seems to have, not having to be in line and being guaranteed a device seems the two biggest pluses

I will not be preordering in this case -- but I would want to if I was paying out of pocket for the phone for several reason 1) possibility of getting it sooner via some sort of shipping speedy awesomeness, a'la Dinc b)satisfaction of knowing i ordered it at the first possible minute and knowing it will be in the mail and not having to worry about going to the store the day it launches.
ok I'm getting a little excited about my Mom's new Rezound -- I hope she likes it!... think she'd notice if I stole the headphones?!

The most recent trend has pre-orders arriving about 2 days before the store release. I know some people got the Razr on wednesday when it was released on friday... So maybe we could get it sometime on 10/6 or 10/5

I've ordered online before and never lost my unlimited but that doesn't mean Verizon couldn't mess it up now.
