Very nice to know. I assume then a completely black wallpaper will extend battery life when compared to other wallpapers?

Well yes a black background would probably give you better battery life if you left the screen at the home screen most of the time, but I doubt anyone does that. People do tend to use darker home screens though (more blacks & grays) to "increase" battery life.

Not a huge deal. I didn't even have a huge problem with it, but it did have 2 problems.

I don't know if the length of verizon's exclusivity of the US gnex had been revealed or not, but while talking to a regional at&t manager, he claimed that it was 3 months. Though i forgot to mention when those 3 months started. Just incase those who are waiting for other carriers to carry it, that seems be at least something.
