I want to lock down this double data for the Nexus. (I have 5 lines on my account, 4 of which are out of contract and been with them for 9 years of perfect payment) Called CS, they won't guarantee me double data when the Nexus does release. Went to the store to Rent-a-Rezound, CS rep there told me if I get the double data, and the promo ends, when I get the Nexus I'll have new terms/conditions and will not be able to keep double data.

I asked him how unlimited data people get to keep there's and he said, "that's different". And advised me it will still be around until after Christmas.

I just don't get it, I have 4 lines out of contract, want to upgrade service, and they can't even toss me a bone.

Maybe she can't guarantee based on the Nexus release because that hasn't been officially set. She did say that it would be around after christmas. Just ask her if you could exchange your rezound any time up to the Jan 9th and keep the Double Data.

My guess is she can't put a promise on something that doesn't exist.
 
So is there really any chance this thing could go on pre order tomorrow? I have seen there is a ice rom on the since forums and I'm wondering if I should try of out since.Verizon can't release this damn phone
 
I don't think there will be any news about the Nexus tonight, if anything I think tomorrow after the 3 day promo ends.


but I think I'll be around at midnight just in case

I did just have some Pliney the Younger a month ago, along with Kentucky Breakfest Stout. Had to get tickets at the bar, and it wasn't easy, but I was able to get two pints of each before the kegs were gone. Easily some of my favorites, along with Ten Fidy.

I've missed out on most of this brewing discussion since I'm kind of in the middle of dealing with quiting and whatnot. But any micro from CO or WA/OR is top notch. If you think Fat Tire, Easy Street, 90Schilling etc are '"ok", get new taste buds. Playin' of course ;)
 
If pre-order starts on the 6th, we'd get it on the 8th or 9th using the Fedex 2 day shipping right? Just trying to decide if going to the store would result in a 1 day quicker nerdgasm. What is everyone else's plans? Store, phone, or online?
 
I can see it now. I finally have the Nexus. I go to a Verizon store for something about my bill. A rep comes up to me and asks, "Can I help you? Looking for a new phone?" I reply, "No. I am more than happy with my Nexus. Thanks anyways." Rep replies, "Have you tried the Razr or Rezound? They are both two of our best phones!"

Yeah, and I get that. I explained to them that I have no problem keeping the Rezound and the double data if the Nexus isn't released by the extended return date. But they said even if I'm within the return date, and the promo is over, they wouldn't allow me to stay on that plan.

IDK, seems a bit cold to me.
