Do you guys prefer clear plastic bags holding the phone and charger... or slightly tinted ones? How about the tape on the box? Brown or clear? I actually am hoping for white twisty ties... the black ones are unsightly. Are you guys kidding me!!!!
I agree, but to some little details like that matter.Do you guys prefer clear plastic bags holding the phone and charger... or slightly tinted ones? How about the tape on the box? Brown or clear? I actually am hoping for white twisty ties... the black ones are unsightly. Are you guys kidding me!!!!

Hmm.
Well, we know that plans aren't tied to contracts, nor are devices. So unless returning the phone for a different phone somehow "resets" the contract, I can't see how this is correct.
IE. You can change phones whenever you would like without modification to your plan given that it supports your current plan. (Can't have an "advanced device" without data, etc)
You can also change your plan whenever you would like given that your phone supports it. IE you can change minutes/features etc.
Neither of those two things seem tied to the contract.
I would consult someone else. I can understand them not wanting to commit to an odd situation. If you worked in the call center you should have some idea what reps can and can't do. I can understand someone not wanting to make you promises that they may not be able to fulfill, but I'm guessing someone can. Retention can normally do things that your regular CSR's cant if it gets to that ... but threatening to cancel over and over garners no favors and in general changes the mood of the conversation.

No official word on anything, but there seem to be a few people who think the 8th looks like a real date. And then there is speculation that there could be a 1st presale.Been lurking on this forum so much, but tonight is just to fast to keep up with. Cant wait to get rid of my OG droid and get the Nexus. I jut figured if i have nothign to add the the conversation im just adding fluff.
I read a few post about preorders today/tomorrow, do they stand any ground?
and what the heck is p3droid blowing up twitter about?
There's nothing more pleasing to me than going home with a beautiful looking box, with a beautiful looking phone inside![]()
So BB, you'll PM me if something happens, right? No way I can stay up that late and get up at 5 a.m. for work.

What have I missed, besides P3's obnoxiously teasing/cryptic tweets?![]()

You mean an HD screen where the buttons don't take up any valuable pixel space? Hmmmm, I think I've seen that somewhere before.

I've got a question relating to contracts and plans, and I figure I can probably get better answers here than anywhere else.
Right now I'm on a VZW month-to-month plan. My account manager page says I have unlimited data. Does that apply to both 3G AND 4G? Do I need to worry about this "double data" plan that's currently available?
