I went to preludedrew's twitter feed and used the link he posted. This build is a step forward, definitely faster but still laggy in places (for example typing this post in landscape view). I flashed the additional zip from the xda thread that appears to be hardware acceleration.
 
loving it so far. just hope they get the reboot problem fixed. also hope this rom stays vanilla with out any visual mods done to it.
 
Seeing how its the very first one I think it will stay vanilla. Once it gets stable you'll see ROMs based off of this one with themeing

Is it for good this time? I saw preludedrew tweet that he asked Platt to close it as it was getting out of hand, but hoped it would reopen again like last time.

I don't think it really matters at this point. I'm sure once a stable is released, they'll open a new thread or reopen the current thread. I believe Platty is getting fed up with different remarks but, imo, who cares. If you don't want feed back about the rom, then don't post it publicly;) But I do understand that it's still in alpha form and it probably gets old sifting through useless rambling when they're trying to develop the rom.

So, either go to infectedRom for updates or follow @preludedrew for updates;)


Anyways, isn't that why we have the forums here? To discuss our issues or concerns!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, but I do enjoy some of the flame wars:p

But xda is a development forum and if someone asks not to post about useless stuff then I usually comply:) Let the developers develop;)
 
This latest build is great! Could definitely be a daily driver.

Edit - just to clarify, this build has hardware acceleration built in so don't flash the additional file I linked before. Over clocked to 1.15 and this ROM is very snappy so far.
 
How is the GPS in this? Is it still possible to flash the Qualcomm 1.1 drivers that work with other AOSP roms? Sounds like most everything else works except 4G right?
 
Wow these guys are incredible! Ill have ICS up and running on my phone before my transformer prime even makes it to me, let alone when the prime gets the ICS ota update.

Rom looks great, thanks devs

GPS works perfectly. No 4G and no camera are the only major things not working at this point.

Edit - just read that headphones aren't working either, but should be fixed in P4 which is rumored to be coming today.

Double edit - MMS is also broken in P3, but preludedrew has said he's fixed both headphones and MMS. I am guessing P4 will be uploaded tonight.
 
Do any of you guys have a direct download link for the latest build? For some reason my IP address is banned on Infectedrom.com and I have no idea why. I think I downloaded the Kingdom rom when it first came out and that was it. I don't think I ever even made a single post on that forum. Weird.

A couple of posts up the link was provided by Psousa781 http://t.co/XdTkkbhj. I tried it out (didn't let the download finish) and it said Evervolv. Try it out.

EDIT: And yeah, it says Evervolv on mine too. Is that the right file? And the new preview is out now I believe, so anybody have the link for preview 4? Looking at the full file name, it looks like it's the right file.

I edited my post again, but you were too fast. Looks like the right file, but I'd like to get my hands on P4 if possible since headphone support is added. Per the posts on XDA it looks like it's available, but I can't load the site. Too bad camera functionality isn't added yet.

Yeah, just double checked and it is the correct file.
