Argh!

What the heck is so frakking hard about setting a release date and just sticking with the damn thing?

Asus Transformer Prime US release date official: Dec. 12 online, Dec. 19 retail | The Verge

Pretty sure these dates were much more firm all along than anything we have heard about GN as it seems some retailers have been saying the 19th all along. Not to mention some retailers have apparently already been promised stock and started preorders in some parts. Anything would beat the first transformer release where there was almost ZERO stock compared to demand. Guessing they will be more bullish with initial production levels this time though.

I drive a 2010 Doge Ram Crew 4x4. At 6'8" it is a necessity. It would be REAL interesting to see me try to get in and out of some these cars people are showing.

I'm 6'6 and drive a 2008 Chevy Malibu. I bought it last year because of the gas mileage and reliability since I am just out of college and make frequent 500+ mile trips back to see my fiance. Boy do I miss my Jeep. Cars just weren't meant for people of our size. Getting in and out of this car is taking years off of my life. I've got my eyes on a Chevy Tahoe within the next couple years...

Has anyone seen this? If it was already posted I apologize. At work soo I'm quite back-and-forth.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE Video Suggests U.S Launch Fast Approaching

Cool find!

But does anyone else think that watching all these videos will ultimately take away from the initial experience? I feel like I've pretty much seen everything.

I think it will cut my euphoria period down to only a few hours.

And the constant waiting isn't doing any favors. I'm worried it will be a total anti-climax.

You are right, sorry. (walks off mumbling to himself "Probably drives a Pontiac Aztek")

I'll bite.

The Aztek is the ugliest car ever created, right about the plasticy element. I have a 2004 Mazda 6 (with the 2.3L 4cyl and auto transmission unfortunately, I find myself using the autostick on it a ton though) and K&N Cold Air Intake and 7 speaker bose audio system along with a 12" Kenwood sub. My prevoius car was a 97 Subaru Legacy GT with a 5 speed, I loved that car before hitting a patch of ice a few years ago and rolling it, the car was totaled but I didn't have a scratch on me. Even though I'm not quite ready for a new car I constantly find myself checking out MazdaSpeed cars and the WRX, if I could afford it I'd have one right now. New Mustangs/Camaros/Challengers are awesome looking cars and I'd love to have one also, however rear wheel drive in Pittsburgh in the winter time is a nightmare, so front wheel drive or all wheel drive for this guy. My dad has a 31 Ford Coupe in his garage that he's completely redoing, new engine/tranny/paint/everything, and he does it all himself. Over the summer him and I completely redid my girlfriends hood since the clear coat was peeling and it needed done. We sanded it down, primed, and painted at my parents house. My dad and I also frequent various car shows and swap meets to check things out and see what cool things people are doing each year, and to pick up a hood or wheels or whatever we seem fit at the time.

Never owned a car in my life, all trucks still running my 98 dodge Ram reg cab 8 ft bed, I don't like car payments.
Ladies love country boys!

I found myself nodding at this.
Only thing that makes it better is a lift and some big mudders

Although I'll admit the Mustang and Vette pique my interest as well.

Good point. I'm hoping that the SGN doesn't release after the Prime. I don't know if I'll be able to stay on course if it does.

I actually thought about that as well. But for some reason I cannot stop clicking... It's a disease.

Excuse me. I have to go wipe off the drool on my phone

Kind of in the same boat here. I really want both. Nexus for sure, tablet I can certainly do without, but I definitely miss our 10.1, and this seems to be a perfect substitute.
Tech addition is a b*&^%, amirite? :o

you know, it was the "in the wild" video posted on Phandroid last night, and I just went back to watch and it looks like you are correct. I could have sworn I saw something when the first photos were posted (without the video) that said it showed a micro-SIM, but it looks normal size to me. That's good news and screw me - maybe I'm just getting information overload in all this...

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Teardown - iFixit

I took a closer look through ifixit just to confirm. I myself will be upgrading from the Tbolt but I don't have to pay retail Big Red made me eligible to upgrade my phone last month:D

Ok I am going to try and catch up, first post on this thread.

I am a HUGE Gators fan, and I hate your team. Mostly because they probably beat us this year, or would have if we played.

I have respect for Urban Meyer, but I also hate him. He gave us two NCs and 2 SEC championships, but he is now the enemy. IMO he will not be as effective at OSU as he has been elsewhere. Likely not as good at Tressel, merely because his (UM) assistants are all gone.

I drive a Jeep. Its better than your car for obvious reasons.

I am a Gnexaholic, however I only check the forums/blogs/twitter 245123 times a day so I'm not as bad as some of you.

I hope I can keep up with this thread...I am a bit slow.

IMO that's like saying watching porno (not that I would ever do that) would make the actual act "a total anti-climax" :D
I like watching the videos (Nexus videos in case you were wondering)

I just dont have any use for a pick up truck. That doesnt mean I dont like them. I had a Jeep CJ-7 That thing was as tough as nails.

I understand...i love the look of the imports all tricked out i just cant use one at this point in my life just like you with a truck...someday bmw z3..or whatever is like it in 20 years...will be my import ride

I've thought the same thing. I've basically avoided any videos since the announcement and I've also avoided the system dumps of : backgrounds, ringtones, etc.

We've waited long enough for these! I want to be able to explore the device when I get my hands on it.
