correct. but all of this is just talk coming from a guy that supposedly works for vzw in some capacity. i read an entire thread(or maybe it was buried within another thread) on android central about it a few days back, and it was heavily discussed earlier in this thread as well

When you sign the new contact at the new carrier, have them take her number. It will automatically come off the old contract... But beware of cancellaion fees if your contract isn't up yet.

Sure he could give a little more info on how he gets his info, but maybe he likes his job. There was a guy NKT in the incredible thread that came up w/ great info at times. He never hung around all day posting inane crap.

ANYONE could have created an account yesterday, said they were a secret source, and that the GN was in final phases of testing with a possible release date before 12/13. And then today, posted "testing is over"--- which we've been told it continues even up to the launch... and possible release date of 12/8. He says these things ONLY after several other sources have already said the same things (in regards to actual dates).

Anything else that he says "minor bug" or testing is over or not over could never be proven true or false.

Do you want me to create a new "secret" account with my incredible "insider" info?

That was already established for a while now. What I'm trying to figure out is why it's being brought up again as I was one of those people who was grandfathered in, I'd hate to lose my unlimited data with 4G phone with amazin 4G coverage here in Jacksonville just cuz I wanted to continue giving Verizon my money. It seems there's talks of the unlimited data infrastructure being altered.

Gotcha, yeah I recall someone mentioning it but then it got flooded in the off topic posts and everything else. I used to be with Verizon back in 2008, then I left due to poor customer service on my end and was with Sprint for up until July of this year then I came back and got grandfathered into unlimited data so I'd sure hate to lose it. Coverage is great where I am at, past that I have no other reason to be with VZW.

Another vote for the Steinheil. Had one on my Dinc since day 1 as well. I checked with Steinheil, and they only have 2 options right now: Ultra Oleophobic and the Flex series - both of which are new to me. I was hoping to see the Ultra Crystal, but either way I will be picking up one of the two options.

Now to just find out which one of the two are the best.

There have been a bunch of testers on this site in the past and many of them handed out some really great information, but most of them didn't want to post in the open forum due to exactly what is happening with this.

If you don't believe someone, that is fine. There isn't any reason to jump all over someone because they aren't willing to reveal everything they know or post pictures or their drivers license. Most of the people that do post are under an NDA and what they are doing could cost them their jobs or even get them a court date. So be nice and accept what people say or ignore it, but don't bash over it.

OTD - I completely agree with you. But if you know something about a pre-sale... then say it. Do you really think that he'll get in trouble for saying that, but not saying the actual release? If there is a "minor bug"... then what is it? He's just screwing with people and it pisses me off.

No... sorry. You have to finish the contract on that line. You could kill one of your lines that's off contract and take hers over. You'd lose the upgrade though.

I am with you, I am ordering one of those two tonight, but it was said earlier to not pick up anything that says "smudge-resistant" so I am not sure :confused:
 
I have the Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic on my iPod touch 4g and a Steinheil anti-finger print on my DINC. I like the Ultra Oleophobic; it looks very clear to me, much clearer than the anti-finger print, which is kinda matte.

This is how I've always known them to apply it. I've never seem them let you keep a data plan with a "dumb phone" even if your willing to pay for it. We've tried to do it at least 2x with the company for a month when a device was broken moving devices around between users and even our business rep could never promise something like that.

I would be very careful and be sure to some how get some very clear documentation that you will get to "keep" unlimited data doing this.

Well since they went to the 2 GB and 5GB plans they have already ended the unlimited "grandfathering". Anybody that signs up for data now has to chose a package.

I saw that AC thread too. It would stink if they try to hose you out of unlimited for upgrading your phone. I guess I could if they eliminate unlimited if you change your plan - depending on how you change your plan. It's obvious their goal is to get rid of us "unlimiteds"

December 8th has been officially set as launch date (internally for now) and there are no further plans for any delays. I cannot talk about preorders however and please do not consider this at all an official announcement until Verizon says so but I hope many of you will find this helpful in your decision making.

i honestly think y'all will take this game. Clemson hasn't played well in a month and your biggest strength (running QB) is our defense's biggest weakness. Hopefully our offense can pull it together, but our only chance is a high scoring game... or a miracle from our terrible LB's.
